Sport Illustrated Hayward Article Pre-Draft

Post#1 » by retiredcoach » Wed Feb 23, 2011 5:36 am

Here's a nice pre-draft Sport Illustrated article on Gordon Hayward. Relax a bit. Don't worry about trades, the last 25 games or whether Deron is leaving. Nice kid with a nice story who will be a solid NBA player in the near future. He may even be a really important part of the playoffs

Just to help with the relaxation here are the answers to the questions above.

1. The Jazz won't make a trade. They need AK for the playoffs.

2. The last 25 games 18/7

3. Yes, Deron is leaving---unless the CBA agreement costs him too much to go elsewhere, he gets converted to LDS, the Jazz go to Western Conference finals this year, the Jazz pick up one strong defensive center in the off season and maybe a shooting guard or none of the teams Deron wants to play for have the cap space to take him at the price he wants. This is just too much to think about, so take a year off.

LOL. We couldn't even take a day off.

Good article, by the way.
