I think Malone will help bring a toghness to the team!I don't think he would make a good head or even assisitent coach. However he was a great defender and knows how to win. there is always a spot for a coach like that. By win i mean lots and lots of games so no one throw that ring comment out there.

Couldn't hurt. It's true too that Karl knows all the tricks on both the offensive and defensive sides. If he was known so much for his will, drive etc then those things can be present in his pursuit of this capacity as well. He can bring that same dedication and hustle to this coaching position. Whether or not he will remains to be seen, but he should be given a chance, though he might end up being too much of a hardass.
