Big AL is the BEST center the Jazz have ever had!! Hands down. He needs a real PF and SG to play with. Defense starts with being able to at least stay with your man. Hayward is the only small on the team even helping out at all with that, and he still has a long way to go.
I'm just saying that trading Big AL for just about anyone would be a huge mistake.

I'm more confortable with Al every new day IMHO.

The guy is averaging 27.9 ppg with 10.3 rpg and 2.2 blocks on 60%FG in the last 10 games.
He is 28.8 ppg, with 11.2 rpg and 2.4 blocks on 60% in the last 5 games....

Since Karl Malone we have not seen any jazz player do it.
He began lost, but he is certainly playing better any game.

I believe and trust in him.

Our problem is not him, the problem is we need a legitimate SG.

If you watch every last champions you always watch one star in the paint, and other out:
Lakers: Kobe & Pau/Odom
Celtics: Pierce/Allen & Garnett
Spurs: Parker/Manu & Duncan
Heat: Wade & O'Neal
Pistons: Billups/Hamilton & Wallace (ok, maybe not star but they were balanced in any position)
Lakers: Kobe & O'Neal

We are pretty good inside with Jefferson, Millsap, Favors if he can develop and Okur if he has something in the thank.
Bell and the inconsistency of Miles is our flaw.

Jefferson's is making the Jazz his team by himself. If he gets consistent with these kind of performances the Jazz have just found their new All-Star. Besides, sooner or later dude will get refs respect... I swear he's got fouled (by being pushed out) almost every time he does his baseline finger-roll under his defender... and he never ever gets the call.

If Favors blossoms the right way, the Jazz will have an elite 4-5 punch... that would be nice I think...

I donno; I'm a fan. I like how he doesn't just pound the ball into the floor the whole game to get his assists like Deron. The ball moves around more, and he gives others room to operate. AK's involvement has sky-rocketed since Harris came on board.

He's not Deron; he's not Paul; he's not Rose. But Devin Harris is a quality, very legitimate starting PG in this league, capable of running an offense.

I like him too, and his best could be head of him in this sort of structure.

Big Al has been my favorite player for years. When we snagged him I about passed out. He is turning out to be everything I thought he would be, and I am so happy now that my favorite player is on my favorite team. Man what a savvy move, and as well as Minni is doing I bet they are kicking themselves for giving Al away like that, despite his low stock at the time.

Al was the leading scorer since the all-star break until that bad game Friday. Not sure if after tonights game if that helps him get back up there but the kid is playing tough!

Nup, I'm done with Jefferson. He's just a big Jason Terry. No left hand; gets the odd defensive stat (blocks instead of steals) which masks his being defensively poor; useless if he's not scoring. I want no truck with a team that builds around his game.
