Did Gordon Hayward get busy with your family dog?

Why are you asking me? Tyreke Evans is the one who hammered him tonight.

Hayward is okay, but people on this board gotta stop acting like he is living up to being the #9 pick right now.

Don't see a lot of dominant badasses post-9. Hayward's a legit pick, and that's only going to become more clear than it already is in the years to come. Strange game to call him out after. Last year's ROY scoring 24 points (and not just against Hayward, by the way) isn't intrinsically indicative of poor defensive play -- and it's not in this instance.

Yawn. Tyreke Evans the #4 pick in the draft and rookie of the year last year who averaged 38 minutes a night in his rookie year.

Meanwhile Hayward is averaging 15 minutes a night his rookie year and one of the few nights he gets starter minutes he has a career high 19 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. Yes, he has stuff to work on, but he is special. He has a very high ceiling and he is athletic and is shooting over 40% from the 3 point line.

Give credit where it is due. Maybe you are just trolling and I am wasting my time. I get that a lottery pick has lots to live up to, but go back through the draft and tell me how many have Blake Griffin type seasons in their rookie year. Also go back 10 years and look at the top 10 picks, what percentage ever become star players?

Hayward has the physical tools and he is getting better all the time. He will be great.

Puleease get real hater.

You speak like it was some scrub that dropped 20+ on the Jazz. Evans scoring 24 is just Evans being Evans. The kid averaged 20 PPG in his rookie year, you don't shut down great scorers. If it was Von Wafer dropping 24 on the Jazz it would be another story.

Ha, try rewatching the entire 4th quarter, Evans had his way with Gordon. Calling me an idiot? Who the **** are you?

You are right that Evans isn't a scrub but he isn't nearly playing as well as he was as a rookie mostly because of injuries.

Again, Hayward is okay, he is getting a ton of minutes lately because of injuries/tanking by us. Does it alarm ANYONE that ever since the all-star break we have been literally one of the worst teams in the NBA? I don't want this franchise to overvalue some dude because he is playing better than the likes of Raja Bell and CJ Miles.
