I thin like against LAL give gtime the ball on the wing and have favors screen for him... etc.

That would be terrific in late game situations(thats what the lakers usually do kobe and pau p&r)

We might as well force the favors and gtime p&r since they are gonna HAVE to do it in the years to come.

Anyone else think we need to get rid of Andrei AND CJ? I would rather see us go after a Tayshaun Prince or Caron Butler who can shoot better than Andrei, but can still play good defense.

No. Just no.

Prince had a TS% of .509 this year. Caron Butler? Career .524. Andrei's? .567 this year, career .571. Everyone gets all hung up on this idea that Andrei can't shoot, but he's a very efficient player on the court. He rarely takes poor shots these days, unlike Chucking Jumpers, who just needs to go.

Getting rid of CJ will be addition by subtraction.

Since when is TS% really that big of a deal, sure it's a stat that can tell some good information, but other times it isn't? Hard to keep a player when he's always missing 10-20 games a year like AK seems to do. Butler adds toughness too.

You're joking on TS% right?

As for Butler, he's quite the tough guy -- he sure shows those straws who's boss. Have you noticed how many games Caron Butler has played lately? He's a regular ironman.

Honestly, yes I know what TS% is, but it's not a stat that's going to make or break my opinion on AK/Caron/even Prince, if we get him at a bargain, then I'm fine with him, but how can you say Caron Butler isn't a caliber of player like AK?

Assuming your sarcasm in your 2nd part of your post, yeah, I get that Caron hasn't played anything since beginning of December or whenever it was, but AK isn't exactly a very reliable player as far as injuries either in the past few years.

“You can see guys are lost out there a little bit,” Miles said. “Just trying to find ways to better themselves and better the team at the same time. It’s just tough. Because guys get lost doing certain things — I don’t even know how to explain it, to tell you the truth. It’s rough out there.”

Almost seems like he's excluding himself...

Please, CJ; please leave. You've made some pretty decent coin. Just stop playing basketball and pursue other endeavors.

Games Missed

Butler
2006-2007: 19
2007-2008: 24
2008-2009: 15
2009-2010: 8
2010-2011: 53

AK
2006-2007: 12
2007-2008: 10
2008-2009: 15
2009-2010: 24
2010-2011: 18 (assuming he doesn't play again this year).

Butler missed more games or just as many games in all of those seasons except one. On average, Butler missed 23.8 games per season over the last five years. On average, AK missed 15.8.

It's so odd, considering all the changes made and new faces that have shown up this year, that I have such a desire for this team to get some fresh blood on the floor. I think the major cause of this symptom is CJ Miles the chucker and brittle AK. As sad as I am to say it (at least for AK), both need to go, unless you can get AK for 6m or less, which won't happen.

What an incredibly odd season. 27-13 to end up where they will is just astonishing.....

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...
