Bucks fan here, looking over your roster more for potential trades.
The more I think about it, the more I think no other team in the league would value Devin Harris as highly as we do. His Milwaukee roots would be great here, and him being able to play and guard either spot in the backcourt would be huge.
Skiles loves going with a dual PG lineup, so he could be very into a Jennings / Harris combo. On the flipside, if we thought Harris would take it up a big notch here, we could include Jennings in a bigger deal perhaps where we pick up one of Jefferson / Milsap / Okur.
Could see us including other assets like our pick (slotted for 10), Ersan, Sanders, etc. in a deal where you take on a nasty contract of ours. Bet we'd take on Raja Bell if you're looking to deal him too.
Thoughts?

Well, we all like Raja a lot, so be prepared to pay. He is out there to be had though... The 10 will work, but... I'm a bit reluctant.

Ok, seriously we will GLADLY toss in Raja Bell into any deal. I will check out your salaries real quick and see what would work. Harris is only really available if we get the 1 with our pick.

We would do Maggette and the 10 for Harris and Bell.

Re: Bucks trades
I could see the Jazz picking a PG or acquiring a young one some other way (maybe even Jennings).
Don't see the Bucks trading value for Raja, but was presuming the Jazz were looking to cut salaries and go younger. If that's not the case I bet he's not included in a deal.
Trying to assess how you feel about Harris. Could a 10 pick and Maggette deal for him get off the ground, or does that pick not hold that kind of value to you?
Bucks don't have much in terms of ending contracts, but I could see Dooling and Delfino (who we value highly as our only wing shooter) helping on the court too.
If Milsap gets traded Jazz could hold interest in Ersan, but not sure what you guys are thinking about PF.

I wouldn't do that. There is no way we should strap ourselves with that contract.

Re: Bucks trades
I don't really see a trade involving Devin Harris that works for the Jazz, unless it involves Bogut coming back, and I can't see why the Bucks would trade Bogut.
I don't love Devin Harris, but I'd rather have him than Salmons or Maggette, and I think those are the only other guys that could make salaries match up.
The 10 pick is tempting, but do the Jazz really want to have three lottery picks in this year's draft? Maybe if they've got a trade lined up already involving some of their picks...

It's 2 years for 2 years with a drop in 2 million in cost total, sans the replacement roster spot

Re: Bucks trades
I've seen what having Earl Watson as our only PG on the roster looks like. And it ain't pretty. The Jazz are rebuilding which means no interest in eating a large contract--or trading away guys for "value" which leaves the roster highly unbalanced.

Re: Bucks trades
Guys, Bucks fan here.
Many of us would like our team to blow up the meager assets we have and start over.
Would you have an interest in Andrew Bogut? We're going to waste his prime by surrounding him with crap. He's too good to allow us to bottom out for a top five pick but not good enough by himself to change the fortunes of the team.
We'd like some combination of Milsap/Favors/Pick 3/Pick 12
Mix and match some combinations and run them past us.
thx

Re: Bucks trades
If those are the options I wold only concider Milsap and the 12. Favors and the 3 are not movable peices for me.

Re: Bucks trades
I'd very strongly consider including the #3 pick for Bogut. Favors is off the table. Millsap is in play.

Favors is our future. And the only ones you can probably get from the Jazz in a trade are the vets. Only thing I can think of right now is Jefferson + Harris for Bogut + Salmons + pick/s. You get rid of your long contracts because Big Al and Devin's contracts expire in 2013.
Notable free agents from that off-season include Josh Smith, Bynum, Millsap, D-Will, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard (but the last three would only be available if they pick up their player options next season). Plus guys from Blake Griffin's draft class (2009): Tyreke, Harden, Curry, etc.
