I can't figure out why you are so high on Brandon Knight. On a PER40 basis of the top 6 PG prospects in this years draft he has the lowest points per 40, the lowest field goal percentage, the second lowest 3P%, fewest assists, fewest steals, second most turnovers, and second most fouls.

Based on the numbers the best PG prospects from best to worst seems to be:

________________Pts___FG%___3P%___FT%___Reb__Asts_Stls_Blks_TOs_PFs
Kyrie__Irving____24.1__52.9__46.2__90.1__4.7__5.9__2____0.8__3.4__2.9
Kemba_Walker___25____42.8__33____81.9__5.8__4.8__2____0.2__2.4__1.5

It seems like it's very difficult to predict NBA success based on college basketball stats. But is that true? I remember Hollinger doing some predictive models that, IIRC, have been pretty solid.

1. Irving
2. Bismack Biyombo/Enes Kanter
3. Knight or Walker
4. Derrick Williams

If Minnesota does not make a trade there is a chance this may happen...

Yeah right!!! Cavs get Irving and Williams. Your not very prejudice as a Cavs fan are you now.

All of us fans are in the same boat. We perceive things through our own biased filter. For some the bias isn't as strong, but it's always present.

I'd rather have Faired at 12 then Biyombo anywhere in the top 10.

I'm going out on a limb as going to say Faried has a far better career than Biyombo.

The biggest thing Knight has in his youth. You take a look at Walker and he is clearly the better player right now but he is also 2 years older than Knight. So then you have to look at Knight and say to yourself ok....if he had another 2 years in the college system with the same team how good would he be? I think that pretty much sums up why he is being taken over Walker and why he is so highly valued by everyone.

Good Point! So from that perspective Kyrie looks amazing. Especially considering he only played part of a season.
