Where are they now? Robert Whaley

I found this sort of comical. Whaley is the anti-Jazz prospect with his demeanor and history, can't believe we drafted him.

Robert Whaley
2001: Arrested for criminal sexual conduct after some kind of rape scandal involving a 13 year old girl. Acquitted after a mistrial was declared.

2003: Arrested and charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery after partaking in some kind of brawl. Plead them down to misdemeanors, sentenced to a year's probtation.

Rather amusing, 15th December 2005: Cited with a class C violation for lying to police after a (you guessed it) early morning altercation at a club. A Denver Nuggets fan with the awesome name of Affan Arslanagic (which sounds more like a suppository) started having a go at Whaley and Jazz team mate Deron Williams in a club, eventually throwing a bottle at them. All three got thrown out, but the fight continued in the street. When police arrived, Whaley said that his name was "Bobby Williams," and Deron Williams said his name was "Torrey Ellis". Whaley cut his hand at some point in the altercation, lied to the team about how it happened (he claimed that his infant son accidentally cut it with a knife), and was out of the league soon afterwards.

July 2008: Charged and convicted with running a drug house in Michigan. Ran away before beginning his sentence.

March 2010: Pulled over by "gang detectives", and arrested after being found to be hiding drugs in his arse. Was also processed on the outstanding Michigan warrant. Jailed initially in Salt Lake County, where he was first arrested, then extradited to Michigan. Sentenced in September to a maximum of 2 years and a minimum of 16 months in jail.
