Kahn has been in love with Willaims since the NCAA Tourny so I dont think hes slipping to 3..... Kahn has no clue how to build a team he just goes after who he likes/loves no matter if its 4 point guards in one draft or 4 sf/pf and no true center for your team.

The hilarious part is that even after drafting all those point guards in 2009 their best PG this past season was Luke Ridnour.

Well, no matter how you slice it, #3 is one heck of alot better than #6.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Raja Bell is a veteran...

So is Millsap.

Would you move the 3, the 12, and Millsap for the #2 and Rubio?

^^^
No to that one. Millsap could easily end up being the best player of that group, while Rubio is not improving and may not be any more likely to come to Utah than go to Minnesota.

Hell NO. Rubio will never cut it in the NBA. I would rather have Flynn.
We need to start a campaign to get Minny to fall in love with Kanter so Williams can slip to us. That would be incredible!
...but I hear that Kanter is totally incredible and way better than Williams! Do it MINNY! Break our hearts!!!

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

So, Millsap, #3, #12 for D. Williams and Rubio?
Yeah, I think I'd do that. I think Rubio is still an elite prospect and moving from 2 to 3 is pretty huge. Also clears up our roster nicely.
I realize a lot hangs on your estimation of Rubio. He's probably the most divisive player I've ever seen when it comes to his value. I happen to be on teh side of teh divide that thinks he's a good/great prospect.

That's an interesting proposal although I have a hard time seeing Minny trading the rights of Rubio after all this time and would he even be interested in playing here? His camp always talked about how badly he wanted he wanted to play for a big market team like the Knicks, etc.

I think I'd do that deal. But would Minnesota? Would they want Devin Harris? I have a hard time seeing them wanting Millsap but NOT wanting Derrick Williams.

Ya I didn't even think about that, it wouldn't make sense for them to take Millsap. Devin Harris would be the guy if we made that deal.

My brother and I were talking about this trade and I think it something that Minn could seriously consider. At least we both think it would be a much better offer than what was rumored yesterday from the Pacers...Danny Granger for the #2 and rights to Ricky Rubio.

I don't hate that idea at all. Derrick Williams and whomever remains between Reggie Jackson and Charles Jenkins would be a satisfactory draft haul, IMO. However, the most sensible option to me is still staying put and taking Kanter or Williams, and going after Singleton or Jackson at 12.

I'd be tempted by that deal.
