The market value is what the market says it is. He is under contract to play basketball, and I'm sure he will do what is asked of him. Dues has always been a warrior, not a prima donna. Winning should be enough to keep him satisfied, as well as the chance to dominate opposing team's reserves.

I think people are worried because he's made statements that point towards him being unhappy with either playing SF fulltime or being the 6th man....IMHO if he's unhappy with those roles and forces the Jazz to move him the return will be terrible...

Hey all - Cavs fan here. I figured I'd post in here rather than clutter up your forums with a new thread.
There's rumblings about the Cavs trying to use their Traded Player Exception on Richard Hamilton and take back a first. The initial deal fell through at the trade deadline due to time constraints, but it was for a 2012 protected first. I know our front office will definitely try to use the exception before the draft. If the Cavs were to obtain the Pistons' first pick this year (#8), what would you guys think of the following:
Trade with Utah and Detroit
Cleveland trades: Traded Player Exception and 2011 first (#4)
Cleveland obtains: Richard Hamilton, 2011 first (#3), and 2011 first (#12)
Utah trades: 2011 first (#3) and 2011 first (#12)
Utah obtains: 2011 first (#4) and 2011 first (#8)
Detroit trades: Richard Hamilton and 2011 first (#8)
Detroit obtains: Traded Player Exception ($12.65M)
Do you think moving down one spot with your first pick is worth up four spots with your other pick? Just curious.

No. It's looking more and more like this draft is going to be 3 players deep, no sense in us not getting one of the 3. Plus there is a chance, albeit a slight chance, that Minny doesn't take Williams allowing us to get him at the 3. There is no way the Jazz don't keep that 3rd pick. They are hard to come by.
Also I kinda feel like it's a crap shoot after the third pick. I don't know that the talent of picking #8 is all that much higher than #12.

I will give you a jar of farts for you opinion. And since that is the only offer you have gotten for your opinion, that is all your opinion is worth. A jar of farts.
