Stockton may have been better with the local media, but overall stockton was very hard on fans, especially about autographs, didn't do a whole lot of public appearances, and generally was pretty aloof.

Deron's fire is what made him such a great player, and a lot of great players are dicks, look at mj and Kobe. I don't get what the big deal is.

Exactly!. Once again, the above times infinity.

I want my players to have that fire.

Like you said previously, still so many sour grapes.

To be honest, I just cant believe how quickly fans forget what a great player Deron is and the competitor that he is. He brought a lot of excitement to the team. It was the right move to trade him because we needed to get value in return, but that doesn't erase the great times Deron gave us!

How quickly they forget...

I'm not sure how the topic got around to hating on D-Will. I didn't think there are a lot fans that hate him. I think many fans are disappointed. I didn't think he was in the same league as Lebron when it comes to haters.

D-Will has his whiner moments, just like a lot of over paid players who forget what they would be doing if it weren't for the NBA.

Dallas won the title. Big deal. A couple of days of hollering and all the fans are back to their previous lives. The banner goes up in the arena, and fans continue to pay ridiculous prices for tickets. Cuban gets an ego boost, and the banner gathers dust. In the overall scheme of things it doesn't mean a thing. But the way some players and fans talk, it's the end of the world if their team don't win a title.
