Jeremy Evans is better than 430. How sad that he's so overlooked.

I mean, he's probably really high up there, but not that high.

I'll bet this has a lot to do with minutes at a position. Something like good centers play 36 minutes, good guards play 40, or whatever they want to establish. Guys who don't get minutes probably get put at the bottom automatically.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

how do you think they do these low rankings? by blindly throwing darts at players pictures

that's only way to explain how Evans is so low, what was his PER last year?

What a silly idea.

It's even sillier to take them so seriously and argue against where they rank a fringe bench player like Jeremy Evans.

Where do these guys come up with these rankings? Is this just someone's opinion who happens to work for ESPN? It is my opinion that Jimmer Fredette is definitely not lower than Raja Bell. I'm not sure anyone is lower than Raja Bell.....

How did we rank the players?

We asked 91 experts to rate each player on a 0-to-10 scale, in terms of "the current quality of each player."

Here is the full list of voters from ESPN.com, the TrueHoop Network, TrueHoop TV, Daily Dime Live, ESPN TV, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, espnW, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN Insider, ESPN Fantasy, ESPN Games, ESPN Dallas, ESPN Los Angeles, ESPN Chicago, ESPN New York, ESPN Stats & Information, ESPN Topics and ESPN Analytics.

To decide which players to rank, we started with every player who played in the league last season, and then eliminated players who had signed overseas contracts that made them ineligible for the 2011-12 NBA season. Then we added the 60 members of the 2011 draft class, eliminating those not likely to play in the NBA by 2012. That left 500 players, according to our best information as of August 15.
