I had been counting him out of the new rotation altogether. If he can play, he may have more trade value off the bat. I wonder how many minutes he could manage right now?

I hope any Memo trade is a trade and buy out with a resign. He's my favorite Jazzman. I hope he becomes a retired community guy.

What team would want to trade for Okur? I say that we keep him. You can never have to many skilled big men.

Resign Okur and Kirilenko for reasonable contracts and let them retire as Jazz men.

$12 million expiring. Also, The fact that the Jazz opted not to trade AK makes me think they will at least try to bring him back on a decent contract. Problem is defining "decent" by both sides.

Yeah, unless they are in the hunt now there's no reason not to let it expire so there's room for the young players to resign.

I don't think the Jazz will be signing anyone longer than Harris and Jefferson's contracts.

While I don't think he is 100% healthy, you don't need much health to chuck 3 pointers in the Turkish league. Being able to stand up and run 50 feet every 24 seconds would be enough.

okur is definitely healthy and is back. today he scored 15 points against paok in a preason game.

Man, if Okur can contribute, the logjam for the bigs is even more severe than we thought.

I hope this doesn't fuel the misguided idea that Millsap can play the 3.

Don't worry Okur's Utah contract will be up before we see any more NBA games in Salt Lake.
