Anyways, it's great we can keep these mid-majors at bay and win convincingly. The real season starts in 2 weeks. No more lower end programs/awesome cheaters who don't count no more. Gotta win! Then get to play Stanford. Then get freaking lucky. Then, lose to Wisconsin or Nebraska.

Anyways our season is in our hands! We still have a BCS bowl in the goal line. No season salvaging for the Checker Auto Parts Arkansas Bowl! That;s worse case scenario. 8-)

BYU's performance was the worst I have ever seen in college football history, and I am not saying that just to be a dick to Zoobs. That was downright awful. 31 points given up on turnovers? And most of those from fumbles that were run into the endzone? 11 yards of rushing? Jeebus.....I feel like Bronco Mendenhall should officially be on the hottest seat there is. His team looks soft....

Well, he did admit that it was all his fault. Fortunately for Roscoe there's this:

I wish the bye week was after Washington right now. I tink they could have really rolled off an emotional high into the home game.

Is the Washington game Homecoming?

I just realized Jake Murphy is a freshman. He's going to be a star! 3 years, he will likely graduate by that time. 1st round pick at TE.

Yeah he's one of those old Freshman, served a mission. We are pretty good at TE and for him to be playing well and getting time shows how good he is. That defense is young, big and fast, hopefully Wynn can manage games because that defense is stout.

Jake Murphy's got good genes. His dad was a pretty good baseball player.

I think Utah has the talent to compete with any team, it's just the Qb position is a real weak spot and though the defense will keep them in games you wonder if the guy that throws like a girl can be a winning Qb in this league. washington has a powder puff defense, but arizona state the next week is good enough to make things miserable for wynn.

Freaking Utah Utes. They go from beating a team that fumbles for a touchdown and turns it over 3 times in the red zone to BEING the team that fumbles for a touchdown and turns it over 3 times in the red zone. All the BCS proponents will point at the Utes when this season is over to justify their stupid system.....

If the Utes defense can play that well every game, the Utes have a very real chance at winning out.

@ Cal
Oregon State
@ Arizona
UCLA
@ Washington State
Colorado

Those are all winnable games if the defense dominates like it did today.

Yeah but you just cant expect a lopsided team to do that. They will at least get to a lame bowl.

Went to the Idaho State game to cheer on my Bengals....the highlight of my day ended up being driving down University Ave. with Hells Bells blasting on the stereo.

Utes went from Exhibit A for why the BCS system is broken and needs to be done away with to Exhibit A for why the BCS system works and the little teams should just be ignored. :banghead:

Well, they are down to a walk on QB... They beat one BCS team this year, but they can't get any traction in conference. Oregon State should be the first win in the Pac.

I disagree. This is one of the worst teams they have fielded in the past five years and they are still competitive in conference (just not winning). Give them a decent quarterback and the Utes would be one of the better PAC teams.
