82 games, or less?

Post#1 » by QuantumMacgyver » Thu Oct 27, 2011 5:59 pm

I know we've all been down this road before, but rumblings are that this lockout is drawing close to a resolution. Hunter and Stern have both hinted at the possibility of still playing 82 games. More back-to-backs, more travel, heightening risk of injuries.

Would you all rather 82 games this year, or a traditional schedule without the fews few weeks of the season?

I think they are receiving pressure from the small market teams to do the full 82 games. Without that revenue many won't be able to keep their lease.

I think extending the length of the season makes sense to get all 82 games. In fact, there is a report that the league is contacting arenas in that regard.

I have always thought that the season at 82 was too long but the league wants to make money so makes sense to do that and play it out.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!
