Still seems like a bit of an oddity that he'd come out with such heavy info if he didn't have a firm belief in it. Seems like the media backlash caught him with his pants down...At this point though you really can't believe anything until it's coming from Sterns mouth at the presser.

looks like checketts was wrong. i'm doubtful a deal gets done. player jabber seems to point towards them rejecting the "new" offer. seeyou guys next fall..
