I dont think hes a bad guy if he goes for more money. He played fir the min last year and is a role player on a non contender.

Where do the Jazz land in the order of preferences?

That's hard to say. I see the Nets there as a booster for his going price and because of Proky (Russian Owner).

I don't know how he'd fit in with the Los Angeles teams.

Orlando could use him as a 3/4, but his shooting may not be what it has to be for him to work there. He loves the big, important three pointer, and he'll take it, but I think Orlando would want a higher percentage than what he can give them.

I do hope he comes back to Utah. I think we need his presence to make the offense work, and to cover the defensive holes we have. But if he wants what he's worth, I'll bet we pass on him and give the minutes to Miles, and Evans.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

For what it's worth both AK and his agent deny any knowledge of these preferences.

I hope he comes back. The gap between what AK gives you versus what you get from Miles/Evans is significant. AK makes people around him better on both ends of the floor. He understands basketball.

Call me pessimistic, but I don't see CJ ever being better than what we saw last year, and I'm not sure that Evans has much ceiling either. Certainly neither of those guys should be a starter in this league.

Totally agree.. I don't see any more improvement from CJ or his 3 point selection of shooting..

Anyone who still believes in CJ Miles' "potential" needs to do some soul-searching...

I think he has James Posey type potential to be awesome for a short time but he's not someone I want to give a contract too right after it happens.

Fes and Elson are gone. Favors, Al, Sap, Enes, Memo are all the 4s and 5s. Remember Evans can play 4 too. Thats 6 out of the 11 on contract or drafted.

Ya Fes and Elson are gone. Thats also why Millsap will be gone as well. He has the most value right now and can bring in a legit return and or draft picks...

We dont know what the offers are. Hes on the block, but not getting kicked to the curb. Offers have to imptove the team and thats tough to do in trades. There isnt a contractual teason to trade and GMs know who Millsap is more than we do.
