jazz trade with lakers

Post#1 » by Lava Rock Kid » Fri Dec 9, 2011 5:53 am

It was posted that the makers had a trade in place for a power forward. I think it was with us. But for which players. Millsap and jefferson for who? Kobe? Lol

Bringing back Fisher to start at the 2. :)
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

I was thinking the same thing when I read the story... Couldn't help but wonder if that was us.

Bynum and steve blake for Millsap and Jefferson works under the cap. Helps Jazz defensively but Bynum has bad Knees. Jazz lineup: (Good defensive team but scoring an issue)

PG Harris Tinsely Blake
SG Heyward Burks Bell
C Bynum Memo Kantor
PF Favors Evans Kantor
SF Miles Evans Burks

Lakers Lineup:
PG Paul Fisher Ebanks
SG Kobe Kapono
C Jefferson
PF MIllsap Carater
SF Metta World Peace Barnes Walton
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I have 100% confidence the Jazz weren't involved. Lakers weren't giving up Bynum. We don't need Artest who's over the hill? Anyone else we could get? Not really.

If one of our guys was heading to LA it had to be part of a 3 way deal. The Lakers would have no one leftover from the CP3 trade that we would want.

The Lakers would have a trade exception which would reduce the Jazz salary and allow trading for somebody at this value.
