1. He slows done our offense so much. When he gets the ball in the post he takes so long to get positioned that its a stagnant on our offense.

2. With Favors putting up a game like he did against Portland (25 and 12) there is no reason to over pay Al for someone who can do almost the same thing if not better (+defense for Favors).

3. Al's value of trade I think is at its max right now and would be the best time to get the most value out of him.

I love Big Al and think he is a great player and guy but just does not fit in this system. We will see what happens but that's just my gut feeling.
all that after one preseason game , my God people are becoming weirder every single day

This is not over one pre-season game this is after a full year of Al playing in our system, he just isnt a fluid player and this is a fluid system. Al can put up great numbers but doesnt have the team philosophy. Favors fits what the FO and CS is looking for. We could use a quality wing player rather than a quality big. The Jazz moved Dantley after Malone showed his stuff.

How's Jefferson's trade value at it's max? He wasn't put in a very forgiving position yesterday, lets see how he does tomorrow.

Because he is three years from his acl injury and had one of his best stretches of basketball at the end of last season and played all 82 games and is in his prime. If he has any kind of injury this year his value will start to decline.

yeah, let's trade our best player cause he got 20 mins and showed nothing. And cause 2nd year man got many mins and did job done. )

Why don't Utah traded Karl Malone after his rookie season?

I didn't think about another injury. I still feel like Jefferson is undervalued league wide and the only way that changes is by starting where he left last season and the Jazz need to win. Otherwise the ole good player on a bad team cuts in to his value.
