Favors is, without a doubt, the future of this franchise.
Millsap is, without a doubt, the present of this franchise.
One of the most frustrating (among many) things about last night's game was seeing Millsap beast off the bench, while Favors-- who played well-- only get 18 minutes, despite starting.
How is this going to work out in the future? Is it time we bench Jefferson and put Favors at the C? I honestly cannot see any way that this could hurt the Jazz. Jefferson has always been a high volume shooter who kills our offense and is a liability on defense. Jefferson is the more traditional vet, but there's a reason his teams have always sucked-- its because he wants to be the man, but can't be.
What's your take on this? Do we deal Millsap and just endure being horrible for a season or two? Do we let Jefferson be 'the man' in Utah, while he chucks useless shots and our Rookies look on? What do we do, here?

I agree with you its time to bench or trade Jefferson. The problem with trading or benching Jefferson is his large contract. I would even consider amnesty on Jefferson to allow time for Kanter and Evans to play. I appreciate that Jefferson worked hard this off season, but it was mistake for the Jazz to pickup this guy from Minnesota even though he is somewhat talented, but he makes way too much money for what he brings to the table. The Jazz need to trade him to Houston where McHale loves him as a player. Get what you can get for this black hole.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I'd like to see Favors at C and Millsap at PF for stretches. I really thought we would see it last night.
It's bound to come up eventually as Corbin attempts every possible lineup combination.

we gonna wait till next game and see what happens, plus i dont see a Favors/Sap or Favors/Al problem last night he got quick in foul truble then he was unable to fihgt against Gasol and basically thast it, stop making from that kid( Fav) some kind of Jazz messiah because he is still "only" a good prospect great athlete, but yet quite weak physically and very inexperienced, who knows if he ever gonna be good enough to led that team or to be "just" 2/3 option.MacheteConfetti wrote: What do we do, here?

I agree. I will be disappointed if we don't see this more often.
Maybe Houston will bite on Harris + Jefferson + TPE for Lowry + Thabeet?
