Von Wafer, Nelson, Earl Clark/Orton, ORL 2nd rd pick

Would you do this? Just curious.

I wouldn't. Harris for Nelson is pretty much a wash with a slight edge to Harris; Clark/Orton won't see minutes, Wafer is useless and the pick will be late unless you trade Dwight. IMHO we might have some interest in Harris for Reddick with a third team sending us a point guard, but that's about it.

Yeah, I prefer Harris of the two straight-up, and the rest of it's kind of extraneous. That's certainly a fair offer, though.

So. let's remember when we got Harris. We thought yeah this guys can score. He can penetrate every time he wants. Yeah he is not pass first point guard.
Now what? He is not going to the basket. If he does this is 90% offensive foul. He is scoring under 10 points in the game! Really?! He is passing not so good.
We need a point guard who can score and pass. And we will be really really good team.
We have every position except PG. Maybe SF. But i think. I we had PG such as D-Will who can score at the crunch time or dish an amazing pass. We could end up the wining the division that's for sure.
So do we need trade Harris? I will say yes of course.
But for whom?

I think we are fine at the pg spot tight now. What's the rush? I still think Burks can be our pg. what of he can be a bit like his mentor (Chauncey Billups)?

Burks PG? Are you kidding? To bounce the ball for 10 seconds. And then rush driving to the hoop? No thank you.
I was glad that after his bad shoots he was sitting out on the bench. Lat time.

Did you hear Jazz execs talk about Burks on draft night?

I'm not talking about right now. He isn't ready to take over the pg spot. But I wouldn't be surprised to if the Jazz groom Jim into pg. he is a great passer and has great handles.
