Another dominating performance over a All-Star player, this time over Kevin Love.
Question is what will it take for Millsap to become a all-star himself. Or is everyone so ignorant toward guys not putting up the huge point totals that they will ignore one of the most efficient players in the NBA.

Unfortunately, it will have to be the coaches to put him in. He will NEVER get the votes. No big deal, it's a popularity contest anyway, and I hope Sap stays less popular as he will always stay cheaper than the more popular big men.

He produces each and every year and the GMs know that which is why the Blazers did such a front loaded contract when he was a free agent. If the Jazz continue to win then the coaches will be pressured to put either or both Millsap/Jefferson into the allstar game.
But Millsap is NOT even close to being the Utah Jazz MVP. The one player the Jazz cant afford to lose (and definitely the team MVP thus far) is Earl Watson. If Millsap doesnt play the Jazz can still win, but if Watson doesnt play then a win over any team is highly unlikely mainly because of the lack of quality at our PG position while we have tons of quality at the PF position.

Our issues at PG shouldn't lessen the importance of Paul to this team. Even with Earl in, without Sap in most of these last games, who would pick up his scoring/defense load? I can't think of anyone on this team right now. Remember, we were SO BAD early this season when Sap was sitting, and Earl was certainly playing.

Re: Paul F'ing Millsap!
I agree about Millsap, incredibly underrated year after year, though this year he is finally getting some love. He is 10th on NBA.com's MVP Ladder.
I know Watson probably has the biggest +/- on the team and may the player that would effect our team the most to lose right now (getting nothing in return), but Millsap is still far ahead of him. Watson is a very good point guard who doesn't get respect league wide due to his numbers and Harris makes him look like a superstar by comparison.
EDIT: Millsap has a higher +/-, Watson is 2nd.

Paul F'ing Millsap!
Paul has been incredible. Just amazing.
10th on the list with MVP race. Look at those other names on that list. I'm just amazed by him.

Year after year he proves doubters wrong (I'm talking to myself here too). I hope he can stay fresh and keep this up.

Re: Paul F'ing Millsap!
4. Pierce to the Utah Jazz for Paul Millsap and future draft pick or Enes Kanter
The Jazz have an overabundance of frontcourt players. They traded for Derrick Favors and drafted Kanter No. 3 overall in 2011 However, they lack a wing player with Pierce's skills and ability. Millsap, though undersized, is one of the top young power forwards in the league. He makes shots, plays extremely hard and is a terrific rebounder. But the Jazz's frontcourt depth makes Millsap expendable. Pierce would give Utah a professional scorer who would fit well with the team. He would space the court for Jefferson, Favors and Kanter and can be that clutch player in the fourth quarter the Jazz lack right now. If the Jazz would rather keep Millsap, then a package of Kanter and the Jazz's 2012 second-round pick (No. 53 overall) could work.
Impact: As previously mentioned, these deals with the Jazz would also include some ancillary players for cap considerations and Pierce's salary of $15.3 million. As previously mentioned, the Celtics would probably also want a draft pick -- in 2012 or beyond -- with Millsap. But the Jazz would not have to break up their talented frontcourt and just decide who is more important to their future, Kanter or Millsap. In the 6-foot-11 Kanter, the Celtics acquire a strong, young interior player with high upside. In Millsap, the Celtics get a moderately priced player ($13.9 million through 2013) who just happens to be one of the top young power forwards in the league.

As described this has no chance of happening. Why do we want Pierce's contract clutter up our salary cap? Especially for our best player and contract wth Millsap. They would have to give us multiple draft picks to even get a conversation about this trade.
Now if they want to do a salary dump of Pierce- something like Harris and Raja for Pierce we would think about it. But I really, really doubt the Jazz are looking to trade Millsap. And with Big Al's new found chemistry with Millsap I doubt we want to trade him either.
The only player I see as likely to be traded in Harris.

Millsap is #1 for PFs in PER so far this season. Why or how anyone continues to doubt this guy is beyond me.
