Please cut Millsap's minutes

Post#1 » by Jazzfan Bayamon » Fri Feb 3, 2012 2:38 pm

It's again utterly obvious that Millsap CAN'T sustain a high level of impact with heavy minutes during the course of the season. His game has dropped off significantly, especially on D, and we've felt the results (2-4 on our last 6).

So, I don't mind him starting, just don't play him over 26 minutes a night. Have his minutes spread on to Favors and Kanter (and even Evans), and thus, save Millsap's effectivness.

Agreed. The same thing happened to him last year. He was killin it, and then the injuries started to build and you could actually see that he was fading.

One other thing that I noticed last night - He needs to quit being so negative about no-calls. The guy gets hacked like crazy, no doubt, but by now I think he should realize that refs just don't give him the respect he deserves and he needs to move past it, stay confident and aggressive.

He is wearing out again. Those people who said he was better than Blake was fools.
