Now is the time to trade Big Al and Harris

Post#1 » by Maverick1978 » Sat Feb 11, 2012 5:08 pm

After watching this duo or lack there of it's time to package them up and ship them out. We all know Harris is a joke with a me first mentality at point guard and with Al on this team, he continues to take minutes away from Kanter and Favors. By trading these two we could get a real point guard which we all know we need. The standard has been set:

Stockton
Dwill

We have to get someone that can pass the ball!

Trading those two guys for one good PG should be really easy. The Jazz might be able to get Rose, Westbrook or Rondo. Maybe NY would be willing to give the Jazz that Lin guy figuring he's going to regress back to his inconsistent turnover prone style 5 games back.

I don't see it as a problem. KOC just has to ask.

Jazz trade
Al Jefferson
Devin Harris

Orlando trade
Ryan Anderson
Jameer Nelson
JJ Redick
Daniel Orton

We get some damn shooting. We don't mess up our cap plan. Both teams get to swap their struggling point guards. Maybe a change would be good for both players.

No way on that Magic trade! Jameer is exactly like Harris! Now the previous comment of Rondo intrigues me.

Ryan Anderson is untouchable for the Magic.

Because he doesn't pass and we have Kanter and Favors in the wings. We r not going to resign him so it's time to trade em.

Only if you're thinking long-term. Front office still wants to make the playoffs though, and losing al would definitely hurt that push.

I gotta say that I disagree. What needs to happen is Favors and Kanter need to be paired with the older guys more - do that and I think our rotation is a lot stronger and less people will have problems with either Millsap or Al.
