Should we stop complaining about offense and start about D?

Post#1 » by Jazzfan12 » Wed Feb 22, 2012 4:53 am

We're 10th in offense right now and 24th in defense but it seems like offense is the only thing that's talked about. The team is at 109.3 points allowed per 100 possessions in the last ten games which would be basically tied for second worst in the league. The Jazz's offense is fine imo...

If Jefferson is your starting C, you will NOT be a good defensive team. Hes not a smart defender. Amazing enough our 19 year old center, the under Kanter, is a smart defensive player. Our PG defense is Laker level bad. Bell does a good job and Hayward defends well. Thats about it. Rondo would surely make this group look better.

Ive been saying it for the last couple of weeks. We win when we play tough defense it leads to allot more fast breaks, and makes the offense flow much better. If we can push the ball more and get back and play solid defense we would be solid.
