Who are we going to relentlessly pound the ball inside to if he's gone? It's all about points in the paint, baby, even if you only make 45% of them.

He is turning out to be exactly what I thought he was before we traded for him. A big man who if you only squint at the box scores looks good. Some nights he really is great, too bad those nights are not very often. :nonono:

No one in the league wants Big AL? KOC work your magic but I think his 14 mil albatross contract is untradeable. I am still up for the Amnesty thing...I just want him off our roster!

The Jazz traded for him, didn't they? And fans in Minnesota saw the same things we're seeing now. The Jazz won't get much for him, but he's tradeable.

I am not sure whats worse Minn giving him the contract or us trading for him agreeing to pay the entire contract. At least Minn, realized their mistake, lets hope KOC does as well. I really dont care if we get anything for him, I just want him off our roster. Hes a cancer for our young bigs and costing them playing time.

Unless we throw in one of our young players, don't see many GMs giving us much for Al. I used to be offended by TPE offers for him, but I'd think I'd take one at this point just to give more playing time to Favors and Kanter (but that might be the whiskey talking).

Honest question. I really wonder what this year would've been like had they handed the keys to the team over to Hayward, Favors, Burks and Kanter, with guys like Bell, Watson and CJ in support. They would have lost a LOT of games, for sure, but I wonder if those guys would've grown more or if they'd be roughly in the same place they are now?

I'm thinking especially of Hayward and Favors. Both of those guys defer SO MUCH to the other guys on the court that it makes me wonder what would happen if there was no one for them to defer to.

I think we would have had a similar or slightly better record because of our defense. Thats saying something huge bc young guys usually dont play defense. I think their offense games especially Hayward would be much better. They would have hit the mid-season wall especially Kanter. Have you guys noticed that Kanter is terrible on the 2nd night of back to backs. He needs to work on his conditioning in the off season.

Bit of a disturbing thing about Favors' development, he has an assist rate of 3.9% right now. From 1999 to 2009, 17 lottery big men had an assist rate of 5% or lower. Only two had decent careers and those two were Andris Biedrins and Joel Pryzbilla (guys that everyone is hoping that Favors is better than)

To let LOve be the Man in Minn they traded away Big Al; For Karl Malone to be the man in Utah they traded away Dantley; Time to trade away (or even Amnesty Big AL) so Favors can develop his offensive game including passing out of the double team. Favors reminds me of an Bynum who use to have raw offensive skills.

Leave it to the Jazz to make Odom look like this isn't the worst year of his career. At least it took Dirk going **** crazy out there tonight to beat us. On a downer note, Dirk went **** crazy on us again...

Millsap's too small to guard Dirk and Jefferson... yeah.

Probably should've left Favors in til the end to guard him.

Man..tough game to watch, but I'm glad the Jazz put some fight in it at the end. Nice to see Favors and Burks lead the comeback there. Nowitzki and the slow start were too much to overcome this game.

Am I the only one who thought the Haywood foul should have been a flagrant? There was no attempt at the ball whatsoever on that play. I'm glad Burks didn't back down from him, though. That was great to see.

If it was so easy, do you think he would been the Finals MVP?

Hes not the same player anymore..Hes done..No longer can put ball on floor. doesnt have JJ setting him up anymore. He can no longer create his own shot. Guarding him is like guarding Bonner of the spurs now...simply play him belly up and dare him to put it on the ground. You could almost even put Hayward on him if you want.

is this for real? or a troll?
