Impressive point total i guess. I can put up lots of points with 21FTA, but maybe im being harsh.against the worst team in recent memory.

You guys know Tony Delk dropped 53 one time right?

Our fan base is so fair weather and ridiculous. When he was traded everyone was going 'oh cp3 is actually better' and blah blah. Now, after one good game in a pretty ugly season from dwill, everyone praises him here and says we shouldve kept him

Didn't anybody notice what Rajon Rondo did that same night? Oh, he just became only the third player ever to put up 15/15/20 in a game. The other two?:

Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson.

I guess it's more impressive to torch Kemba Walker with some threes and a bunch of FT's, though.

You realize they were playing Charlotte right?

Good performance against the worst team in the league

Still take our young talent over him

I hope you are basing that on future projections...because right now our team be in solid playoff contention with DWill instead of Harris, Favors, and Kanter.

...and you also know its the highest point total by a player in over 3 years, and that it hasn't been done by a pg for a very long time (Maybe Delk???) I think almost all of us realize it was in the long term a good idea to trade him. That doesn't mean we can't mourn in his loss when he pours in 57 points. Also the people who said CP3 is better were saying that from the start.

I just have to laugh at the people who try to minimize it...take it for what it is - an AMAZING performance by an AMAZING player...it doesn't make our trading him a mistake.
ps - so what if it was the bobcats! 57 on the bobcats = 50 against us.

Not to take away from Deron, but I think what should be more significant is how terrible New Jersey's defense is (which is some fault on Deron), Deron had to score 57 to barely beat the freaking Bobcats.

I was especially impressed by the 21-21 free throws, as drawing and making free throws wasn't a big part of Deron's game until a couple of years ago.

One thing this monster game by D-Will was actually not a NBA game.

NBA teams are supposed to beat European teams, but I can count at least 20 European team that can beat both these teams.

So 57 points is OK and good. But Deron had to score that much, because he didn't have a player on his team to help him.
