Millsap undergoing tests on Wrist

Post#1 » by Reckless » Thu Apr 12, 2012 6:15 pm

Paul Millsap is undergoing tests on his right wrist and won't practice on Thursday.
This is the first we've heard of a wrist concern for Millsap, and owners need to pay careful attention to this situation. He played 40.5 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday with 21 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block, but injured his wrist during the game. Utah's next game is on Friday, so Millsap's status will certainly be updated before that time. Derrick Favors would likely draw a start if Millsap is forced to miss any time.

injury bug is going around, hopefully he doesn't miss any games

This could be devastating to the Jazz's playoff hopes.
Jazz_Man_86 on Favors:

"He is not Dwight Howard. He's max is 20 + 13 + 2 = is this a supers tats? No."

Dwight 2011-2012 - 20.6 Points - 14.5 Rebounds - 2.1 Blocks

Woah... we can live without Watson, Evans, Howard, Bell and Miles.... but not without any more player.
Jefferson, Millsap, Hayward, Favors, Harris and Tinsley are vital right now.

No bueno :( hes tough though so he'll probably play if its not to serious. Although the hornets game would be a good one for him to sit out for one more days rest if need be.

Go small with Carroll at the 4... and play Blake Ahearn at the 2!

Really want to see that kid play for some reason.

In any case, this is bad news. Can't afford any more hits if we're going to make the post-season.

Sure he'll play, but how badly will it affect his shooting? As an example, I don't think Deron's shot has ever recovered from his wrist injury (57-pt game notwithstanding).

I think our roster improved with half of those injuries... but yeah we definitely need Sap.

He put up 27 tonight (in the loss). Just one more thing to like about Millsap. That's what got him a steady job in the league. When Boozer was nursing injuries, he was playing through stitches and sprains to put up double doubles. I love that about him.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.
