Would any Jazz fans & the organization be interested in letting New Orleans have the Jazz name back and going with something more true to Utah?
I understand the team has had the name for 40 years but it's not like they have won any championships & maybe a new name would give the team that lil extra something

The Brand is Stockton to Malone and that is Jazz Basketball. We're going forward with this name. New Orleans should be happy to be rid of a pretty terrible name actually. I hate names that are not pluralized properly. But this is the team I grew up with and I love being a fan.

Yeah there are literally (yes literally) hundreds of thousands of people who associate "Jazz" with the basketball team in Utah just as readily as they do with the genre of music. You don't kill a brand that strong

Here's the trade. Take it or leave it.
Utah trades:
-The Jazz name.
New Orleans trades:
-Eric Gordon
-New Orleans 1st round picks from 2012-2022.
-Saints name and logo.

Pfft I'd give up the name for just Eric Gordon or the 1st pick. The name is nice and all, but I'll take winning any day over a nickname.

Go away. You pulled this in the general board and were unbelievably ignorant, bringing it here is just a recipe to get flamed.
