Kidd's contract will be up in Dallas I think that's where Nash will be heading, Cuban will throw money at him to reunite him with Dirk

Nah, Cubin is going to throw money at a much younger DWill.

Harris has come on strong the past month or so, and I wouldn't mind at all seeing him next year on the Jazz. That being said, the scenario has a lot of merit. However, you have to ask yourself how Nash would work with Big Al (I am not sure it would).

Having Nash on the team would make me feel more comfortable with letting Al go... Nash i believe has the ability get guys easy buckets... if we lost Al's ability to score by himself in the low post I would feel better having a hall of fame passer.

I am starting to really like the idea of adding Marshall to be mentored by Nash. I think I would still hold onto Al and make him adjust his game accordingly.

GS loses their pick to Utah. Utah Trades Al and through a 3 team trade acquires Granger. Drafts Marshall.

Then KOC signs Nash to a 3 year deal or a sign/trade with Harris.

Somebody tell me how this sucks.

The part where you draft Marshall. I'd rather Lilard be mentored by Nash, since he could improve his passing a lot AND hit a bucket AND you know, actually defend someone (not Nash's forte).

love the idea. Just regret for Harris, he's a good player and maybe he can show it in the playoffs (maybe he could play with Nash, at least for one season). Also like lillard over Marshall

Utah still have the amnesty which they could use to clear up space. This will be a great year to have cap if you're looking for a PG. Priority for Utah is as follows:

1. Deron Williams
2. Steve Nash
3. Goran Dragic

Then there is Jeremy Lin, Jameer Nelson, Ramon Sessions, Chauncey Billups, Andre Miller, and Jason Kidd (primarily leadership).

Chauncey is another guy I would go for... Hopefully his achiles is better but the dude is one of the most efficient players in the league and a leader. Dragic is a no for me.

Would you guys be okay with Kanter/Jefferson/Harris for Nash/Hill/Brown/Childress?

As long as you made it a three-way and included either Kobe or LeBron going to the Jazz.

No. Want to keep Kanter and Al is playing well with the other big dogs. Need to keep that length to contend and with Nash being a free agent there is no need really at all for this trade.

That's terrible value for us, if I'm being honest. I have my issues with Jefferson, but you're talking about giving up a proven 20/10 guy, a 7'0 lottery pick with star potential, and a solid-and-still-fairly-young PG... for a couple years of a 38 year-old Steve Nash. Hill's a good player, but at the end of his career; Brown is absolute garbage; and Childress is... just kind of there (and making too much money, if I recall correctly).

I read somewhere that he wouldn't take a pay cut. He's making $11 this season (a bargain if you ask me).

I don't know what MJVILE's source was, but he said that Nash would take 3 @ $21 million which sounds more reasonable. If the Jazz were a little more competitive, maybe it would make sense to pay higher, but not to just be bumped in the second round for the next three years.
