That's a strange reaction, since I used a cordial "my friend" moniker and your post was predicated on the belief that Alec Burks will be a point guard. A bit baffled by your taking offense.

I would like to think we could trade harris and get back a player like iggy....but it might not be enough. Here's a situation though. Grizzlies want to shed some cap space when the new CBA luxary penalty kicks in, so the jazz can send them milsap and harris (expring, can resign who they want) and warriors pick for Rudy Gay. We get the athletic 3 we've been looking for, and have a favors, Kanter, Hayward, Rudy Gay, and possibly burks (if he can convert to PG) locked in for the future. That's western conference finals potential right there.

Above situation would be a big trade scenario. More often than not role players are traded in this league. A more realistic option I see happening is something like Tinsley (or Watson) and Raja Bell for Dorell Wright. Wright will be riding the pine this season backing up jefferson and Barnes, and we have lots of depth at guard and don't want raja any more. This could happen.

I like Earl Watson, loved his heart and toughness, but we really need to get rid of him since having 4 PG's is way too much on the roster.

Line-Up w/Mins
PG - Harris (32) / Tinsley (10) / Williams (0 - 3rd string PG)
SG - Williams (30) / Burks (22)
SF - Hayward (32) / Carroll (12) / Murphy (0 - will find minutes with injuries)
PF - Favors (29) / Millsap (27) / 5th Big (Evans?)
C - Jefferson (32) / Kanter (14)

harri isnt that bad of a baller. he played less minutes then most starting players at his position so yes they will be less. is he still an allstar??? probably not. he is in the upper 60% of PGs though. and utahjazzfan88 id start milsap and PF and favors at C favers is big enough and strong enough and is instant defens and offense, Al is just offence and he is usually slugish at the start of games. i know Al would never go with coming off the bench his pride wont let him but i think it would be a smart move to start the younger big.
