in it, the jazz traded him for another former clipper guard. turns out, realgm likes it too.

Too bad it's only a dream.

Seriously, if I had a dream about Jefferson I would make an appointment with a shrink, like first thing after I woke up!

I hate the trade. Al is way better....stat-wise. The points match up but the rebounds from a big man need to equal assists for a guard 10 rebounds is way better to 3 assists. That needs to be around 7 or 8 assists.

Or second choice replacement: 3 point shooting needs to at least be better than 37% and has dropped every year the past 4 years down to 27% last year. yuck.

Keep dreaming ;)

That would be a fantastic trade for the Jazz, but I can't see it happening.

I did that very same trade in NBA 2K12 and Gordon sucked on the Jazz, couldn't hit a three to save his life......

haha. yeah. gotta love dreams, especially about my teams. i also remember during boozers mysterious hammy injury that i dreamed the jazz traded him for joe johnson. it would have been johnsons first or second year with the hawks.

i agree, trading jefferson for gordon would not make the jazz much better. jazz have plenty of guards already, and i am not so sure eric gordon would be THAT much of a step up from any of them. i did find it humorous when i woke up, that my brain selected another former clipper guard to bring on.

maybe after this year, the jazz can sign chris paul ;)

Eric Gordon is, to me, one of the future most-overrated players in the league. He's never had a 20+ PER year. He is a terrible rebounder from the 2, not a good enough facilitator to be a primary creator for a team, nothing special as a defender and not really that great a shooter. He's hasn't been particularly efficient as a scorer (though he's been good) and provides good but not elite volume. To me, he's a 9m a season player, but he's getting the max. Sounds like a younger and perimeter version of Al Jefferson, so its fitting they would be traded for each other.

No way I want to take on that contract, although I do think it would make us a better team next year.
