10 years in Realgm

Post#1 » by FJS » Wed Sep 19, 2012 9:28 pm

Okay, maybe this don't deserve a thread, but I'm just realise today, 10 years ago I began to post in those forums.

I lived Stockton's retirement, Malone with Lakers, AK rising, Williams draft, 2007 WCF, Boozer's injuries, Memo money shot... and so long.

I never thought I would be posting there 10 years, and I'm really glad and still reading every day those forums, altough I don't post too often (less in Summer, with no much action)

I only want to share my feelings about that with you guys.

Regards,

Fran.

Looks like I only joined 21 days before you, so I will celebrate my 10 year anniversary with you. I survived PWOOD, IMISSBEINGANIDIOTBADLY and even grew to like KING,so overall it has been ok.

(but after thinking of some behaviors ive witnessed, im not that surprised :) )

anyway, good job, have fun, glad we're still seeing you on here

Congrats FJS, I ve always been a fan of your job here.

I am here since Jul 08, 2004. I am not a big contributor, but I read it almost every day.

This is the only Jazz forum I am part of.

Yeah, lets hope for 10 more years and a Jazz Championship.

Regards!

Wow FJS. I don't know whether to say congratulations or I'm sorry to here that. ;)

I can't believe how long it's been.....I just past my 9 year mark. I was off and on with RealGM and another board that was good until one poster bagged on everyone and killed the board. Then it was RealGM all the way. Love it. Moving through three states, and now I'm back in Utah, RealGM kept me on-the-know with my Jazz.

Going to share here. One time driving through New Mexico and craving Jazz information (I was away on a business trip without internet. Back before smart phones, hehe) I listened to fuzz and crackle for about 2 hours on the radio trying to catch a word here and there on the Jazz-talk. And then after picking up a friend about ten minutes he turned to me and breathed a grunt and just turned off the radio, and said what are you listening to anyway.
Go ReAL!

Congrats, FJS! Good to see a lot of old timers still around, especially my Brazilian comrade Deniz. I don't post a lot, but read the boards basically everyday since I joined. It's always a great pleasure to discuss Jazz basketball with fellow fans.

Love RealGM. Always happy to talk Jazz basketball, and the "big personalities" -- whether amusing, frustrating, or both -- definitely make the place more fun.

Congrats on 10 years! Crazy how the time has gone so quickly! First thing I remember about these forums was arguing with people that Harpring was a downgrade from Donyell Marshall and that we handled the B-russ situation poorly :)

you've had quite a few legendary stockton debates in that time.
