Ya but did you see that shot Al took

well, that's a big al shot. what u gonna do?

btw, it just occurred to me that after this game Kanter will no longer be a rookie. life will be less funny from now on.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Kanter still over-thinking on offense. That play was case in point

Millsap had a good game, but under 20 minutes for Favors is a very bad thing. Corbin scares me bc he worries too much about the veterans at the expense of the careers of the truly talented young players.

Yea but why blame corbin for that? KOC is the one who still has them on this team and brought in more veterans to hopefully win more games now. Could it possibly be that corbin keeps playing veterans because the FO insist he does it?

Had he stayed in the game, he would break Stockton's record today with his 38th straight double digit assist game (he was tied with Stock with 37). So his streak ends and Humphries finally proves useful to the team that drafted him.

Magic has the record I think; Stockton and Rondo are second.

ROAD WIN WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 8-)

and yeah.. Al should have called a timeout...or Corbin or.. who knows...least the refs stopped the play before Marvin got ran over (wicked fall/hit.. hope he's alright.. he had a really good game)

Still ugly game.. hopefully we get some sort of flow/balance..

The fact that Derrick Favors is only getting 17 minutes in a game where he influenced the outcome this much is a f***ing joke. I'm not the knee jerk type, but that by itself is practically grounds for firing.

Corbin is slowly convincing me that he does not have what it takes to be a coach that can run a contending team. It's one thing if he doesn't play a young guy because he's not ready and he isn't willing to spend the time to develop him. That's bad enough, but at least understandable on some level. But taking our best player out just because he perceives him to be a young player and thus not deserving of time is ridiculous.

Wow, erudite getting emotional. Don't see that very often.

I think the main concern is foul trouble, not readiness.

Haha, yeah. I try really hard not to be reactionary, but this team has me discouraged in a way that I've never been before. Especially with such a young team that is over .500 despite playing twice as many road games as home games. I just don't believe in the direction we seem to be heading. Most of it is lack of faith in Corbin, as well as some disturbing signs I'm seeing in the moves we're making. But the fact that we haven't seen any movement in the Big Al/Millsap situation is very disturbing. If we just let those guys play their contracts out we are out of our minds. At this point, a trade of either one of them would probably not move the needle on the season much, if any, since Favors can absorb most of their minutes without any drop off in quality. But we could very easily lose them without getting any compensation in return, and that would be a devastating blow to our hopes of building a contender.

Its starting to boil over.

I still don't know why people actually thought KOC would trade Big Al/Millsap before their contracts expire. He has a history and he never changes. This what he does. This was predictable back when Kanter was first drafted.

As for our rotations, I still think corbin gets way too much blame. I mean the FO put these veterans on the team for a reason so what is suppose to do not play them? You think they didn't insist on him playing them? Coaches will do anything for job security. I mean he's no doc rivers or pop but he's not as bad as many of you say. Last night for example, Corbin just had problem playing carroll and marvin both the minutes they deserved (along with the other guards/wings) while playing millsap high minutes since he was playing so well along with Kanter and Big AL. Favors just unfortunatly got the short end of the stick unintentionally.

And while I can agree Favors should be able to replace millsap in the starting lineup to an extent, its gonna hurt us alot unless we get another good big off the bench. And I am 100% this team will sink without big al. Once again many of you have no idea what your asking for by getting rid of BIg Al. He has pulled us out the fire already too many times this season. RESPECT THAT MAN!!!
