I know, he is holding a lot...but you got to love it when he does score.


I think when favors is out their, it really helps him work, cause Favors can get interior assits that allows Al to just do quick buckets without having to resort to jumpshot. For some reason, Millsap doesn't do as good as Favors as working with Big Al. Like watch Kanter and Favors, they work pretty good.

I was always under the impression that it would be smarter to start Al and Favors, and bring Sap and Kanter off the bench late in the first and keep them their for a significant stretch

Jazz are working towards a much needed road win. I know that when you make your own expectations, it really builds confidence. The win at home versus Dallas, and now hopefully tonight, it is what we need for the game in the ATL.

We need to have one tough quarter to kill the hopes of the Bobcats.

Well my standing opinion is, if you end up trading Millsap or Al, your going to want to showcase them. See what I mean. Your going to want them to have the highest points etc. This goes for all the others who are on expring contracts, which is what the reasoning must have been

Well its the case with Hayward. Everyone knows he is awesome. But your not potentially gonna use him for trades like everyone on the starters. Which is why I think Carroll takes the starter after Marvin, since Carroll is the other contract, and Marvin is also on for another year, but can back out by June 30th.

Not quite, Carroll takes over the starter role when Marvin is out because Ty (like Jerry before him) prefers to minimize the impact of injuries to his rotation. It's been common for a while for the Jazz to use a third string guy in the starting lineup when there is injury to maintain the same rotations.

That was the thing I kind of thought before. Cause I have been saying that our bench is in fact #1 best bench in the league. You take one piece and it might not be that great(minus or plus whatever PG). So yeah it makes sense to bring in your great 3rd stringer.

I think we must sign Carroll again. He is a lion and can come out of the 3rd string to have a huge night!

I think December was the month of learning...espeiclly for Corbin. Just the big combination of things has left us more "grown up" and bonded more together. I always say big losses builds character, and character builds great players, who build confidence, and confident young players wins games!
