Re: Head Coach Candidates
If we do change coaches, which I doubt, I would like a complete break from the Jazz family. I am tired of the same excuses, I mean explanations and I would like to actually see a team give an effort on defense rather than just lip service.

Re: Head Coach Candidates
If the position does become open I would advise giving David Blatt a shot. I'd anchor him with one long time NBA assistant plus former Jazz like Karl Malone.

Popavich(by concensus the best coach in the league) strikes a respect fear of confidence it their players.
Can anyone name anything smart or great Corbin has ever done?? I mean any small thing great thing as a coach that he has done name it??

i'm totally on board with this, except the karl malone part. i'd love to have him, but he might be too volatile.
also, we already have a long time jazz guy with hornacek, who is also an assistant coach. a bit of a 2 for one.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Lindsey was at Houston while JVG was coach there. If the jazz decide to make a change I have to think Dennis would give JVG a call.

Looks like the Spurs hired him in June of 2007. So, yes?

I really like the VCU coach. I also like Brad Stevens from Butler. Although I wonder if Stevens could even demand the respect from grown men when he looks like he's 20. Great, great coach though.
Coaches get respect from their players by how they act and what they say, not by what they look like.
It was a joke. It's called sarcasm. Damn man, are you ever happy?

Ha, well I don't blame you. I've never seen a more cynical fanbase in my life. But in a strange way, it makes things more entertaining... sometimes.

Re: Head Coach Candidates
I was never a fan of SVG coached teams; always thought Jeff was the better out of the two. I think we're stuck with Corbin for the time being. Brian Shaw and Marc Iavoroni might be OK choices, but I just don't see all that much out there worth going after.
