Mad props to Doug Collins. He didn't like the way his starters were playing, so he took out all 5 of them 5 minutes into the game. There's no way in hell Corbin would ever have the balls to do that.

Yep. It's the sort of thing Ty threatened to do but never had the balls to actually do.

yeah, but we all know that collins is a dead man walking, and he knows it too. he's not coming back next year, so he's doing whatever he wants and doesn't care anymore.

Al just came into the game after getting a lot of rest and couldn't be bothered to cross half-court on Philadelphia possession. Pull him, Ty.

I posted this in the 76ers game thread, but I wanted to know how you guys felt about it.

Sign and trade: Al Jefferson 4/50 + Jazz 2013 1st
We get: Spencer Hawes (1 year 6.6 mil) + 76ers 1st

We get a young backup big who could play with Kanter, Favors, or Evans with only a 1 year deal. Plus we get to move up without really giving any assets and make sure we have a chance to get Burke.

Thoughts?

i'd want a bit more. if we can't get a 1st round pick in next year's draft, i'd at least want the sixers' 2nd round pick of this year, which is #34 at the moment (via the pelicans\hornets).

yeah. this team is in the playoff hunt and hardly anyone cares. which goes to show that jazz fans are tired of mediocrity and that the jazz's PR approach and general direction blew up in their face this season. they should follow this board and draw some conclusions...
