Good article. Sums up our chances this year. Lakers are going to have to lose some games for us to overtake them. We are going to have to win all our games against easier teams and win some on the road. As long as we win we have a chance.

I agree with how bad our defense was against Denver. We gave them layups.

How bad could defense help you lose?? Oh, I forgot Defense is 50% of the game, and all offense is started from defense, so being in the bottom of the league in defense should only give you a lottery pick, nothing else....

God knows how we ever got in playoff spots with such lousy defense....Hayward, Kanter, Favors and Burks have great defense, Foye, Mo and Jefferson have a lot to learn, and I forgive Foye, cause he isn't here to defend, he is here to break all 3pt records in a Jazz uniform.

However, this same notion can't be allowed for everyone. We are too lenient on good offense makes up for bad defense....Honestly it should only be the other way around.

Zach Lowe is doing work. Props for him - that's the 2nd big Jazz article he's put out there. And props for the link as well.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.
