Story jazz fans, GS tried to help you out but the refs gave LA an extra 10 points

The referee's were a 6th man for the Lakers team...

Going into the 4th, GSW had 15 more FG's but were only up 5 points. It was a shooting clinic for GSW, and the only thing Lakers had to combatant it was 50 attempts in free throws....which was 38 points...compared to GSW's 13/16 FT's....talk about 1 sided...

HOW IN THE HELL DOES 1 TEAM GET 50 FREE THROWS.....If you ask me, the NBA is rigged....to many people have big money on the line in the 1 billion dollar Laker team, not going to playoffs would cost them more than paying off ref's...

In the end 12 more FG and 1 less 3pt losses you the game?!!? I think they should ban Free Throws, its too easily corruptable even if Ref's are being one sided/payed/sold, and players just use techniques, like Kobe!

Yeah, it was depressing to watch. Some of the calls at the end of that game were just bizarre.

Pretty much Lakers have to lose 1 more game, and Jazz have to win 1 more game, with only 2 games left each.

If Lakers win both, were done. If Jazz win both, then Lakers would still have to lose 1.

Best Hope:

Lakers are 1-1 in the next two games, Jazz win Minnesota and Lakers lose to Spurs, and then Jazz go to Memphis and play the best game they ever played in lives ever/future lives ever, and Jazz win 2-0 in the next two games.

Longest Shot and best option for us:

Lakers go 0-2 in the next two gamse against Houston and Spurs

Utah goes 1-1 in the next two games, we get a win on Minnesota but lose to Memphis (or vice versa)

With Kobe and Nash out. Artest who had surgery not to long ago, and Howard who can't shoot Free Throws.....I would bet big money that Houston don't play no fool and win.

Spurs are also in a battle for #1 in west, even without a Parker, they will bring Popavich's game which is hard to beat even if your getting 50 FT attempts from Ref's....

yeah, the refs gave that one to the lakers.

the game was decided by 2 points. now watch the play where kobe suffers his last injury (the Achilles). he fell because his Achilles got torn, but there was no foul there. yet they whistle barnes and give kobe two FTs, which he makes.

There was a play earlier in the game where Dwight chased a rebound out of bounds, landed 3 feet out of bounds, threw the ball back in bounds, and a baseline official was right there looking at him. No call. That extra possession ended up leading to 3 points (free throw, missed free throw with another foul call on GS, then two more made free throws). There were several other ones. It all added up to something in the 10 point range. Too much to overcome.
