Fav for Cavs #1

Post#1 » by eLo » Mon Jun 3, 2013 3:22 am

Ok guys would you do that??? Cavs want a rim protector so they would probably accept that, im not sure if this would be good for Jazz team, draft is not strong this year but #1 pick is always intriguing

Nope. Number 1 sucks this year. Not a Noel fan.

im also not noel fan, i he got huge bust potential, but lets leave him when i think about this #1 i think about Mcclemore, and imo he is really very good prospect, plus with Hay he could make truly deadly combination on 2/3 spot

Favors isn't a bust and still has a ton of potential. The demon you know>the demon you don't know.

I don't think I'd trade Favors for anyone in this draft. I know there are other centers that have great defensive potential. Like BJ13 said, it's an unnecessary risk for the Jazz to take if there isn't a clearcut player at #1.

No, any player picked 1-14 could end up being best player from this draft

no way. if the cavs want a rim protector, let them draft the guy with a torn ACL who can't buy a bucket and weighs 206 pounds (which is less than some PGs). why should we trade favors for that guy?

I wouldn't do it if I were the cavs. I think they should and will pick Alex Len #1 and he will become beast. I mean they have been kinda shocking with their draft choices the last couple of years, why stop now?

I don't think the Cavs do this either.

Honesty I don't even understand why Noel has been assumed to be the number 1 pick for this long... I think the media has hyped this one up way to much and I honestly think there are MULTIPLE players that would be a much better choice

It's the Cavs... If they choose Noel it's probably cause he sucks. Honestly I don't even know how they picked LeBron and Irving... maybe just cause it was so obvious it was impossible to make a mistake.

Without the knee injuries, I don't see how any player in this draft would be close to him.

On the college level Noel changed the way opposing teams played on offense. He controlled the paint. In one game against Georgia he had 12 blocks, eight after he picked up his fourth foul. He definitely needs to get bigger to work in the middle in the pros but you can't teach his defensive instincts.

Noel will get bounced around like a tin can in the big leagues. There is no one in this draft that has Favors potential. I wouldn't do it.

i also think they shoud pick Len, and i also think Fvaors has the highest celing from this year rookies but still geting #1 pick is chance to make quite complementary team

No. Can't have Kanter or Hayward either. Terrible year to be drafting #1 you have my sympathy.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
