Millsap will be more appreciated by jazz fans when he's gone. How many big plays did he make down the stretch of games? Jefferson's defense was so piss poor that it had a really bad effect on Paul, Al is a Loser with a capital L. Corbin was too stupid to not experiment more with a Millsap-Favors frontline.

I concede Millsap would be a decent sixth man, but he has to be the most over rated player in the history of the jazz.

I love how Millsap's defense is Jefferson's fault, just like, apparently, everything else that ever went wrong with the Jazz, including the Jazz not winning a championship with Stockton and Malone...... Why not the other way around? All of Jefferson's problems were because Corbin played him with an undersized PF-wanabee too much......

"It doesn't take into account team defense" Nobody makes that excuse for Al, yet everybody starts harking on it when it comes to Paul...... People love Millsap because he's a success story, but the truth is the last few seasons he's been lazy, selfish and whiny...... And he can't be a starter for a team that wants to compete for anything, unless he's playing with two other superstars.......
The stat sheet referenced in that thread is simple rating and Paul Millsap shows up not at eighth worst, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 130th worst. He was just ahead of that terrible defender, Roy Hibbert. And you're really going to cite a Jazz fan website as an objective source? Really? This is just like citing fantasy basketball statistics...... Grow up......
1. You just tried unsuccessfully to do the same thing. A jazzfanz link to lockedonjazz? Really?
2. My numbers are correct, whether you like them or the source or not.
3. "Grow up" is your comeback? Well, then...Learn to use a period.
4. By any chance, is your real name Ryan?
I know how to use periods...... That's why they are at the end of my sentences.......
Hibbert? Advanced stats show the Pacers do not get any worse defensively when Hibbert comes off the court..... Great defensive numbers (blocks and steals) don't necessarily equal great defense...... Jefferson is actually the case in point on that....... Same goes for Millsap......
