Dallas playing well against the Sun is exactly what I expected from the Jazz, in case they have gotten to round 2. I was not that afraid of the Suns team as everyone was counting them as a prohibitive title favorite. Of course, they are better than the Jazz, but it is not like they should sweep us.

A few the last few years the NBA title was there to grab, and we missed good opportunities here and there.

Anyway, it sucks watching the Playoff and not actually playing it.

Not sure if anyone follows this, but the Shaq-Gobert jabs and the commentary around them are very entertaining.

For what it's worth, Gobert is definitely a very good defensive player, but I'm with Shaq on this--Gobert wouldn't be able to guard him.

I was not aware of that.

Well, nobody could really guard Shaq in the good old times, so what Shaq is saying about Gobert is just silly. What is the point of say that about Gobert? Grow up Shaq, you are like 50 years old already. Gee...

On another subject, I was watching the Celtics x Bucks game yesterday.

Watching Tatum is something incredible. You know, there has always been so much hype about Tatum, I was never really sold on him, but man, that dude is good. I am impressed with his game. He really seems to become a super start.

I was kind of envy, because we don't have anybody closes to that. We can say whatever we want about Mitchell, but I guess Tatum is better.

I don't think Mitchell is on the tier of Morant either. Maybe not even Booker.

I think he and Morant are very close, great offensive players who are terrible defenders...... Booker is slightly above both........

Jerami Grant traded to Portland for a 1st round pick (Bucks 2025, so probably a late 1st rounder), 2nd round pick and a swap of 2nd's. I know that the team taking him needs to have cap room to absorb in this kind of deal, but that seems really cheap for a good player like Grant. Interesting.

I think it's about right..... He's been overhyped.......

Agree to disagree. I think he's the ideal forward in today's NBA. He can defend 1-5, can shoot from 3, long & athletic. His downfall seems to be that he thinks he's a #1 option, when he's not, but I think that can be changed if he was in the right situation where the team is winning and he has a big (but not #1 option) role. Not so sure that's Portland with Dame, so it'll be interesting to see how that works out.

Can someone explain to me why the Spurs traded Murray?

Well, that's their choice, I guess. He still has two more seasons on a very affordable contract. But it also shows that they weren't afraid to blow things up and trade their star player when they realized their team was going no where, which is something I wish the Jazz had done long ago.

Still, I don't think they got very good value. The picks they got will probably be in the 20s. But maybe they could flip them into a player down the road, who knows.

Looks like he also told them he wouldn't re-sign...... Guess they decided not to wait until the last moment to trade him, which makes sense I guess..... I don't think he's a particularly great building block anyway, so they got what they could for him.......

Joe Ingles signs with Milwaukee. Good luck Jingling Joe! Might be a semi-Bucks fan this upcoming year.

Is Greg Sylvander a credible source? Apparently Miami is planning to offer something for Mitchell

Congratulations to former Jazz player Demarre Carroll, The Junkyard Dog, who is joining the Bucks' coaching staff.
