Turn overs have nothing to do with the plays being called by Sloan, is has to do with the execution of said players on the floor. You cant blame Sloan because our guys are playing tired, scared, and sloppy! He only has so much to work with!

Of course you can. Other teams dont play that way, why does ours? I(ts either the coach coaching them, or the personell person acquiring them. Sloan has final say in both of those matters.

Even Doug Collins said that there are a lot of calls going in Portland direction.. It's not a exuse for Jazz playing awful, it's just funny how NBA can promote their "cinderellla stories" - Portland, Boston, New Orleans...

Sloan has no concept how to coach this team. Websters hot and Jazz are playing zone when they should be playing man on webster. Sloan blames Miles, Brewer, and Korver or allowing him to get hot by pulling them in and out of the game even though it was his defensive startegy and philosophy of allowing the 3 point shot which is killling the Jazz. The buck stops with Sloan and that buck needs to be shot!!!!

They are grown men who are resposible for their own actions. It would be one thing if one or two guys were playing like crap and Sloan was refusing to take them out, but the WHOLE team is playing like crap, so Sloan plays the lesser of two evils. You Sloan haters look for anything you can find to try to blame on Sloan...its kinda sad!

Well... it's about time to face it... Boozer and Okur are not going to take the Jazz to the next level.
This game was such until Mr. Boozer decide his stats were **** and start to shoot the ball in the middle of his personal slump.
Then became the usual Mr Williams and Mr Okur lost balls.... sum up a magnificent inability to stop the Websters and Outlaws.... ooh, don't forget the inability to gain a free throw to save their lives... and Jazz are just where they deserve... out of the playoffs.

It isnt a matter of age, its a matter of ability. And they dont have the ability to play the only way Sloan will allow them, and he doesnt change his approach to maximize what they CAN do. Its very simple. If they play scared and sloppy on the road(which they have for years now), they need to get new guys, or change the way they play. Theyre not capable of playing his rigid way.

The other team got hot, either we put them on their ass, or they stay hot.

Portland is just using us as a whipping boy, they are playing like they have no pressure on them whatsoever.

No it isn't. Because when they let you play and not call the "obvious" calls, then players get confortable, because they aren't avoiding the fouls. That's what happened tonight. Yes Webster got hot, but they got away with EVERYTHING down low. Moving screens, etc. And everytime they do it and aren't called, they'll do it harder the next time and get into a grove.

And to be honest, that isn't as bad, if the game is being called the same both sides, but when on the other hand, are getting called for every ticky-tack foul and violation, loose ball, offensive, etc. etc., then our guys become timid, and back off. That's what happened in the 3rd. They got hot, got pumped, and got away with EVERYTHING (as you can see, no TO's for them but lots of grabing, tripping and pushing for us). What happened, every single guy and that piece of sh
