They will go on a winning streak. Next game expect the Jazz to blowout whomever they're facing.
Next game is tomorrow vs the Bucks, while Redd might light us up, I believe we'll come back hungry. 4 games in 5 nights wont be easy though, I hope we atleast win 2 of the next 3. We are so lucky to have a relatively big gap on the Nuggets.

The Jazz will still at least split this road trip. One bad game, after 5 wins, including a good win in Phoenix.
Remember, the Jazz were terrible to finish this season last year and still made a great run, one bad game isn't the end of the season, and this is such a trap game it's unbelievable.
First game of a road trip, against a team who is better then their record, after a 3 night layoff, with a completely new look and new game plan.

Maybe we need to face the fact that we are destined for the 4th seed in the west with this roster. At least until Portland gets good in the next couple of years.
Boozer has sucked all of 2008, he hasn't had a double-double in hell knows how long, and he nas NEVER played defense, it's sickening to watch him every game. He tucks his arms into his chest like a ******* fetus and STEPS OUT OF THE WAY. What is his problem? And then Jerry rewards him with plays called and playing time. He needs to be disciplined, and if this problem can't be fixed the Jazz need to do something because DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. It is a PROVEN FACT that the Jazz are more efficient when Boozer is on the bench! Did you see him tonight? The Jazz were gaining momentum in the fourth until Jerry put his ass back in the game, and Okur turned it over like 50000 times. But jsut to cap off my rant, here's Boozer's spectacular line for the night:
5-14 FROM THE FIELD
0-4 FROM THE LINE
4 WEAK FOULS
3 TURNOVERS
3 BLOCKS AGAINST!!!!!!!!
And he let's Drew Gooden go off for 24 and 10! Add him to the list of mediocre power forwards made into all stars by the great carlos ***** boozer.
I have tried to ignore this, tried to stick up for and find the good in Boozer and focus on his good offensive nights, but i just can't anymore. and the worst part is knowing the jazz will never, ever trade him. we can expect horrible interior D for years to come!

Harping lost this one gents. The Jazz were in really good shape when AK went out in the 1st Q and he came in and was so focused on drawing fouls down low and flailing his arms as big as possible that he completely shut down any kind of offense we were running because of how much room he was taking up. The papers sucked his nuts while AK was out, but really I thought he was horrible in that stretch. It was Brew, Korver, CJ, and a reborn Memo that picked up the slack. Not Harp.

Yep, cause in the Sloan haters eyes, Boozer just struggled while Harpring should just be playing football.
This game is clearly on Booz and to a lesser extent Ronnie Price who is just playing horrendous.

too bad collins harpring have those pictures of larry miller. seriously, why do we hold on to a guy who does ONE thing right (come off the curl and hit free throw line jumpers) and a guy that rarely plays? why not spend money on someone who can block a shot or two, make an impact? i wonder if the jazz even TRIED going for kurt thomas, that guy is having a huge impact in san antonio already...

First of all I have had little beef with Jerry this year. I think he has finally given into the players he held back in the 2 previous years (DWill his rookie year, and Brew last year) and I think he rotations have been solid (except I think he sometimes is too rigid with them).
Boozer was bad tonight too, but that was again because Harpring was not running the offense in the same rhythm that everyone else was because he was going down and trying to post up and spazzing out and taking up the space Boozer needed.
As for Ronnie Price 1) Harpring again sucked tonight which limits his options. Some nights Korver just cannot get free which again limits his options. Ronnie Price plays well when the second unit guys play well. His play is reliant on how well Harpring and Korver play. I thought

The Jazz-Bulls game will be a homecoming for Deron Williams and Sloan.
Williams played at the University of Illinois, leading the Illini to the 2005 NCAA championship game. Sloan played and coached the Bulls during stretches from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. His No. 4 hangs from the rafters at the United Center.
For Williams, this will be his third game in Chicago since the Jazz took him with the third pick of the 2005 draft. They lost during his rookie season, 103-98. They won last year, 95-85.
"Definitely one of my favorite places to play," Williams said. "The Illini fans are going to be everywhere. I've got a lot of friends there, too, so it will be fun to go back again."
On the other hand, Sloan shrugs off his return to Chicago.
"That's been so long ago, I've about forgotten how to get there," he said. "I do have a daughter who lives in the northern part of Chicago - in Crystal Lake. So I'll have a chance to maybe say hello to her."

I see someone made it home in time for the road trip.

King in my honest opinion is a JINX, he stopped posting late december and we just exploded with a huge run, now he comes back and we lose we have been playing arguably our best ball before this last game. What changed? King Everything returned. Just my thoughts, but some ppl have to really actually think about this, I may be crazy but how else can we just go to ****?

mmm... I think I said this loud and clear... Boozer and Williams.. 28-3 when Williams gets 11+ AST, and Okur and more to an extent Boozer...
Freaking Boozer, it is like he is not in the game. I could easily see three times he screened his own teammate and an easy basket. Once I saw him during a scramble by Chicago's passing, somehow Boozer ender ridicoulously behind the backboard... WTF? NO ONE WAS THERE!!! And obviously Okur gets outplayed by Gooden. How about 0-4 from free throw line, or his insistence on penetrating a lane with 3 people.
Boozer should be easily stripped of captainhood.
Deron, 10 AST is fine, if you don't have 6 effing turnovers, totally not cool. The one thing I am really upset about was the fact that he didn't shoot more, jack more three's, just take over the game and go for 40, rather than keep trying to pass it to fudging Boozer.
The game really pissed me off I can't believe Thurl was thinking the same thing I was, that even though there was a lot of scoring woes, a DECENT DEFENSE, wouldn't have kept us in the game. Hell, they were 46% from the floor! So many stupid turnovers, when Boozer goes numb like this is when I say, go small, put Millsap on the floor instead, or move Kirilenko to PF, and put CJ on the lineup.
The only thing I am pissed off at Sloan is that he actually put Boozer in the game, it is just totally not cool when the captain doesn't show up for road games, and he destroys the team morale, and doesn't give the chance to the second team, or even his first team to catchup in the game.
