Everyone please stop crying about the refs. It's a road game in the NBA for God's sake. Tough calls will go against you sh*t happens get over it. Even with the tough breaks the Jazz had a chance to win this game. If the players make excuses and whine like this they will be out in the first round.
I'm dissapointed with the loss and letting Dirk get that 3 but happy with how the Jazz battled on the road in a hostile environment. I predict Dallas will upset whoever they are matched up with in the first round. They are playing good ball.
Win the next 2 at home which I expect and the game @SA still could be for homecourt if some pieces fall into place.

In all reality, we lost home court after losing for the second time to a piece of crap Minnesota team. The real issue now is how are we playing come playoff time, and even with this loss we are obviously playing well, and confident, on the road coming down the stretch. I can live with that, though those two Minny losses seem to hurt now more than ever.

Several comments about the game :
- Boozer was horrible tonight. Except for his and 1 late in the 4th he was horrible at the end of the game. Dirk raped him on the defensive end and even in the rebouding area he has let Dallas get several offensive rebounds
. Seriously , he was a liability.
- I now understand for the first time why some people think this team would be better with trading Boozer and keeping Memo (i'm not a big Memo fan but he is amazing lately) . But i still disagree. You take away Boozer , you take away the pick and roll.
- The coaching : Why in hell does Harpring plays that much ?? Kirilenko should have played way more than 28 minutes. I was a huge Harpring , but this past month i'm starting to think he is a liability for this team. Not only we would be tons better with CJ miles playing backup SF (but i understand why we wouldn't do it) , i also think he shouldn't get that many minutes in the game anymore !! Kirilenko should play 35 minutes per game. It was ridiculous how many times Harpring's guy got a wide open jumper.
Kirilenko is playing well over the past two games. It's no surprise , when he is involved offensively he plays good defense.
- More than anything , this game has made me a believer in this team. I always thought the team was one of the most talented in the league and had the potential to win it all.
But i also reckoned that we're limited defensively with our duo inside ,two guys with who we couldn't go all the way as long as they're used together.
I don't think that anymore. This is the 3rd time in a row that we have played very good defense.
In the two previous games, San Antonio and New Orleans were incredibly cold shooting wise. Tonight Dallas shot 53% from downtown and we still had a more than decent defensive game.
This team can play championship defense , book it.
Sidenote : Unfortunately this is the first time Utah has lost a game this season while holding his opponent under 100pts.

This stood out to me as well. Also, the Mavs played insanly good, playoff-intensity defense in the second quarter, and solid defense the rest of the game. They deserve credit. Yet we battled back, Deron was a monster, and after Okur, AK-47 was our best player - which gives me immense hope for the playoffs. I know Boozer will right himself, and we have two gauranteed wins (IMO) coming up - and there's no reason to think we can't win in San Antonio. A hard-fought, 3 point loss to a very good team when the reigning MVP is fantastic is no reason to get down. A couple of other points:
- Brewer just isn't fully back from the groin injury. When he is, we're even deeper.
- When AK was on Terry late in the 4th, he just shut him down completely. Terry was KILLING us before that. If I remember right, AK also stopped Dirk in a game earlier this year. If AK is even close to his old self (and I see indications of that) then we are tough to beat.
- D-Will was frustrating Jason Kidd all night long. He's picked up his D, and for the last shot, I knew he was going to take it, and make it. He is our star, and our leader, and he's playing like it. More than anything this gives me confidence.

It wasn't looking good in the 1st half all those fastbreak points that the mavs got were killing us, we needed a shooting exhibition by Memo just to make it somewhat close heading into half time
We showed up in the 3rd quarter with tough D to give us a chance
The 4th we were playing good it was going back and forth. Mavs were not going to let up, knocking down all their free throws, hell even Erick Dampier of all people hit 2 crucial ones. Mavs just played a little bit better than us tonight. It sucks to lose like this but what can you do

I love that even though Deron played terrible to start the game he still showed up when it mattered and hit some huge shots, even though the Jazz came up short they were definitely a good position to beat a hot team on the road.
The jazz are in good shape in Deron's hands.

I thought the turning point in the game was when Harpring missed a wide open 18 footer with the Jazz up 3.
He makes that shot, I think we would have won.
I'm not mad at him for missing it. Sometimes you just miss. I'd be mad if he didn't take that shot. Still, it would have been nice that that shot gone down.
But, given that we missed like 47 put back attempts and failed to rebound on multiple occasions, I wouldn't put the loss on Harpring, it just so happened that his miss was the moment when we lost our momentum.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Yep Harpring misses it Terry races down the court draws contact from ronnie price and makes the shots and he makes the free throw. that's a 5 point swing
reminded me of the play in New Jersey when jazz had a chance to get a good lead up on the nets in the 4th, Memo had a wide open look at a 3 and he misses it, the nets get the rebound and convert a AND1 on the other side, 6 point swing
jazz just gotta make the shots in the 4th quarter when they get good looks!
Millsap missed a lot of good looks, but at least he played pretty solid D

The best part of the negative aspect was we wasn't playing really well and still had a chance of winning it.
We are a really difficult team to win still not playing at 100% of our possibilities.
Our deffense was terrible in the clutch time... In games like that with Boozer not being important in offense I would rather to have Millsap in the floor.

when speak about harp and memo, we gotta make the shots at the 4. q. but playing D is enough when you consider Millsap. so what is your point should we make the shots at 4th or make good D.
i guess you shouldnt reduce the game winning to several fallen or not fallen shots.
enjoy the life

Tough tough loss. Although it was a heartbreaker, I still feel very optimistic, despite nearly getting blown out in the 1st, we stuck with it and had a chance at the end, and DWill hit an AMAZING shot to tie it.
We lost because everyone in the whole nation knew Dirk was going to shoot that last 3, EXCEPT BOOZER, which really shouldn't surprise anyone. Booz was absolutely terrible. He owes DWill an apology.

If that's true than Craig Bolerjack doesn't know sh*t.

Boozer was standing next to him and looked like he was going to start guarding him but Dirk went right by him. It appeared that when the ball was inbounded Boozer was standing by the free throw line with nobody around him. Okur was back on the defensive end in the paint. He should have come out more but who knows if the guy with the ball was going to blow by Korver for a layup?

Watch it again guys... Korver was the closest to Dirk, and Okur was getting there, but Boozer's man, who was Eddie Jones, was going into the paint. Korver rather than going to Dirk, got confused and was going to defend the pass to Eddie Jones. That is two players trying to make sure Eddie Jones doesn't get another game winning shot against the Jazz like last year. That was because Carlos Boozer couldn't guard him. Plus, a 2 is easier than a 3 point shot. I am with Okur on this one, and no one should blame him of anything.
