Simple solution, win on the road, find a way to play with confidence on the road. Sure we could rebound the ball better, but there's no reason to be 6-14 right now on the road.

Confidence is everything. It's that one attribute that affects every single aspect of the game. I am 100% sure you will regain it at some point, the Jazz are too good of a team to keep on this pace.

I told myself I wouldn't troll this thread on my way home from the game. I had every intention of not egging on your fans.

However.

The way you (not all of you, a select few who I won't call out, but should know who they are) have conducted yourselves here tonight is shameful. I didn't believe it when I was told that your fan base was one of the most egotistical, annoying, and overly dramatic in the league. I would expect it from LA or NY, but Utah? REALLY? Come on.

We didn't have our number 1 guy this game. We didn't have our number 2 guy the first time we beat you. Call us a bunch of nobodies if you will, it only insults your teams struggles even more. Say that we'll come crashing back down to earth. It might help you sleep better at night. Know that we've beaten mostly playoff teams in our 16 wins over the last 17 games. Take solace that you ended our streak. Talk down Martell Webster despite the fact that we took him over your beloved DWil. Just do whatever it is you need to do, but please, for the love of God, stop making bigger asses out of yourselves.

To the classy fans out there, good night, and good luck with the rest of the season, you guys are still a scary team.

To the non classy fans, enjoy 3rd place in the NW for the forseeable future.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

After the heated discussions are over, here's a summary:

-Portland doesn't have Roy, Utah had shot W/O AK. Sounds pretty even to me, not really much of an advantage for Utah

-Portland is the younger team, 4 oldest players on Utah are Jarron Collins, Jason Hart, Memo and Matt Harpring. I sure as hell know Jargon & Jason Hart are barely NBA talent, let alone leaders/experienced players. Matt Harpring is going downhill and Memo has no swagger anymore. So how does this age thing really matter when Utah is playing with player just as young?

-There are some crazy fans on this forum, some got acquainted with their cap lock button or forgot to turn it off

-The Money Man isn't even produce pesos anymore. The guy is only worth the 6 fouls he uses on the layup attempts he gives up, now we have 12 fouls to use in the C spot with Memo & Jargon :nonono:

-Portland's 16-1 spurt consists of 10 home wins & 6 road wins against some weak teams, considering Memphis, Chicago, Minnesota, and yes, Utah, aren't that great right now. Next 7 games are a visit from GS & a 6-game Eastern road trip, please comeback to tell us how that goes.

-Portland is still 2nd in the NW by Percentage points, Utah won the division last year & are only 3.5 games back right now with over half the season left.

-Portland has played 19 home games while Utah has only had 15. Utah has also played 5 more road games than Portland also

Main point is.....Utah fans are biased and can't see that their team sucks :banghead: lol j/p, season is early and Utah has played better at the end of the year the last few years, while Portland has never really had to play for anything down the stretch of the season when things tighten up and the wear n' tear catches up with everyone.

You beat 4 teams that are currently in a playoff spots in the standings are GS, New Orleans, Toronto, and at Denver, hell of a run  Guess Memphis, Sixers, and Seattle Supersonics must of been some stiff competition. Last time I checked, the Blazers traded the 3rd pick to Utah, and Deron was taken #3 while Martell was #6, (3rd pick is higher than 6th pick if you didn't know  )

The Blazers are playing some excellent ball right now. The Jazz are playing like ass. Yeah, Booz was lapping bunghole tonight, but he's carried the team on plenty of occasions this year. If Sloan had pulled him out, the people who were bitching because he was in the game would've been bitching because he was on the bench.

The bottom line; The Jazz got clowned in every stat category. FG%, FT%, 3pt, ORB, DRB, AST, TO's, BLKs. Fouls were close, 21 for the Spazz and 20 for the Blazers. Not going to win many games like that. I hope they turn it around at least a little bit... and soon.

We beat you guys twice during the streak, I guess technically you guys aren't a playoff team right now if they were to start tommorrow, but you guys sure talk like you're a top seed in the west 8) We also beat Chicago who will most likely be a playoff team by seasons end, and who was playing VERY well.

We traded you the 3rd pick because we knew we could take Martell with the 6th, and obviously, had we wanted DWil over him, wouldn't have done that...hence we took Martell over him. Also, Having Williams likely wouldn't have netted us Roy, LMA, or Oden. I think things worked out, and Nash, our former, fired, GM lucked into doing something right.

I sure as hell didn't say we were a top seed with the way we're playing lately. You guys beat Chicago in 2 OT's with a coach still trying to find out what his rotation is going to be, must be fulfilling considering they're sure as hell not a Playoff team right now. When Portland can beat a top team like PHX, SA, DAL, DET, or BOS, get back to me about being legit.

Doesn't matter if you wanted Martell or not, Deron is still #3 pick & Martell was #6 pick....#3>#6

I really don't see where you're going with this, but okay.

You forgot to add that Deng also didn't play much in the Chicago game because he got hurt.:D But we have beat DAL and DET already this season.

Have you looked at your losses? I see one has come to Charlotte as well, so why criticize us for losing to them when you have as well? You have also lost to Miami and New York so....

Utah always loses to crap teams, so that's nothing new. Utah just sucks and plays down to the level of Lottery teams.

That's because you don't watch the Blazers. Roy is much more valuable to us than AK is to you. Roy is basically Deron for us. Would you rather play a game without AK or without Deron? AK of course, Deron is your leader and your playmaker, as Roy is for us. Our closest Comparison for AK is probably Outlaw, sure it would hurt to play without him, but not nearly as much as Roy.
