I watched a lot of BYU games. He has great size, court vision and passing ability. I always thought his shot would come around. What worries me is his handle and ability to deal with on ball pressure.

Personally, I would not trade down for him. Trade up from 21? Maybe, but there are probably other players that I would prefer.

If I could trade back with Houston in a 3 way and we get one of their high value picks like a Suns picks, I’d do it.

There is a video with Kessler playing 3-3 and showing some nice moves. He's already planting the seeds for 2027, as he's working out with Lincoln Cosby.

Jazz hire Celtics' Austin Ainge as president of basketball ops

Ainge, 43, has been with the Celtics since 2009, when he was hired to be the coach of their G League affiliate. Two years later, he moved into a front office role and has remained with Boston for the past 14 seasons, including the past six as an assistant general manager.

I don’t know jack about him. Could be a great move. But nepotism isn’t usually a good thing. But I wouldn’t mind being Ainges son, that’s for sure.

Oddly I wonder if nepotism in this situation is actually a good thing. GMs in the NBA are such an old boys club that having relationships with various front offices might matter more than anything else and those relationships often cross generations.

Could very well be true. And he could be bringing some institutional knowledge from Boston that helps out. He probably knows if they are looking to trade various players, etc.

Ainge's specialty is supposed to be scouting. The last six years have been when he has been in his previous role worh the Celtics.

Laker fan here, didn't want to create a thread so just posting here. John Collins

Averages roughly 18.5 points a game for you guys, just wondering, can you all describe to me how Collins gets most of his points?
Does he create his own shots
Off rebounds
fast breaks etc etc.

I watch a handful of Utah games this year, but mostly watching Kessler LOL, so curious to know how he goes getting this points.

Thanks in advance.
My Go Team
Magic, Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Shaq

He's become a very nice scorer. He makes open threes, he can post up or face up and then drive to the basket, he draws contact and gets to the line, can give you 2 offensive rebounds per game, great target for alley hoops, and he also shoots the mid-range shot. He can be a very nice complementary piece for a contending team that needs some help with scoring.
