We got NOTHING from Harpring or Korver. I love it however that when Matt does nothing he still plays 20+ minutes.
Defense, defense, defense. The Jazz will never get better than they are now until we start having defense at the rim. What happened to AK? He used to be a defensive force. He is having a HORRIBLE defensive season. He gives us nothing on the defensive end of the floor that he used to give us. How good would we be if that AK still existed?

Call me crazy, but I don't know if I've ever seen a team get away with more moving screens than the New Orleans Hornets, and particularly Tyson Chandler. It's almost like they have an offensive tackle out there mauling the defenders on the pick and roll.....and the refs sit there star gazing at Chris Paul instead of calling the foul.
Now, Phoenix has been notoriously bad this way, too, so it's not like they're the only ones, but it is just incredibly frustrating. Its hard enough trying to stop someone as good as Chris Paul without letting his big guy get away with murder in the screen game. **** it pisses me off.

It had been a while since I could actually watch a Jazz game. Now I can understand why there's so many guys pissed about the Deron vs Paul thing. The Chris Paul love fest is ridiculous. It's like Michael Jordan all over again. The guy can do no wrong.
Jazz defense really pissed me off. Boozer and Memo for the most part show no effort at all.
Matty was awful. When he's not hitting his midrangers, he doesn't do much good on the court, besides the occasional offensive board.
Jazz make some really stupid mistakes. I loved hpw they fought to get back into the game, but if they just took better care of the ball, they would have won this one.

LOL LOL LOL
at ESPN crediting Paul for "taking over" in the 4th. He didn't do squat in the 4th, it was Pargo who actually put them over the top. He better thank God he had that walk in the park 1st qtr, or he and his team would've had their asses handed to them AGAIN.
And on to that... I'm really pissed at Boozer right now. He's been the definition of PUSSY for the last month or so. He's getting beat to most rebounds and his game is incredibly soft. Hell, I can say that he's "softer" than Memo right now. BTW, props to Memo. He's really worked himself back. IMO he's the one doing MOST of the dirtywork on D while also sticking up for us on O. Boozer is just playing like a Pansy. Hopefully Charles rips him soon so he can grow a pair again.

Well, given the way we played in the first quarter, we definitely didn't deserve to win that game. That being said, we still had a shot coming down to the last five minutes or so and the refs played a role in spoiling it with that no call. Hell, Paul got a lot more calls than Deron the entire game. First a block was called on Deron on a clear charge, then they called a foul on AK when Paul moved right in front of him on the fast break, etc., etc.
Aside from that, Memo had a great game, but couldn't hit **** from three point range, which really hurt us down the stretch. Aside from Deron, we didn't hit any threes, because Okur struggled from deep and Korver only played six minutes and took one shot. I understand why Sloan went with two point guards, but Korver absolutely needs to play more and get more shots, even if it means taking away minutes from Harpring. In the games where Korver's played a lot and gotten a lot of shots up, he's added a new dimension to the team, but it seems like his minutes are going down every game. Sloan must have remembered that he's not a big fan of threes and that Harpring, who (badly) missed two or three costly wide open mid range jumpers and didn't do anything on defense, can give him what his new wife can't.

I think that it might be time to trade boozer while his value is up and put milsap into that starting PF spot. With both Boozer and Memo on the floor at the same time the Jazz are the softest team in the NBA. No defense at all. Trade booze for a good defensive center and another defensive minded player.

Booz is tweenty and ten he might be down now but he usually gives you that night in and night out. Millsap can match the rebounds but not the offense and plus i think there defense is about the same. Millsap dosent have boozers jumper. Which is why him and dwill are so hard to cover on pick n rolls.
