Yeah, Matty boy is getting old, thats a pit, but thats also life. Sometimes it hits you sooner than expected.

I am still a big fan of him, and probably I will always be.

I am really proud to have his jersey.

Regards.

It was a perfect sample of how Tony Allen pushes Matt Harpring's back and referees mum about it cause they think if he comes from football family he can take any bump foul.

But I can make a video of Harpring blocking Paul Pierce on one-to-one play and rebounding it, or rebounding AK's missed jumper and keep ball alive on two other possessions, or forcing Scalabrine to turnover, or drawing foul to put Celtics in foul trouble early in the 2nd Q which greatly help the Jazz to erase 1st Q deficit.

Only if you watch it late night and in the privacy of your own bedroom.

You don't see Allen's push and you don't see Harp's block on Pierce so does it really matter if you see me as a loser? Probably not.

I saw the block. There was no push whatsoever. Matt just biffed it. I think you're a loser because you find excuses for Harpring.

There was push. Re-watch it, watch Tony Allen with his hands and body on Harpring's back, flying and falling down. It just takes slight push from behind to move you at higher point of your jump and miss the layup.

Well, I can make video, if you want to pretend "there was no push whatsoever".

Jozef, it's a team game and some people have a hard time understanding that some players have a tendency to make the team better. Your wasting your time with the preconceived fans who buy into the popular stand at the time. Some are quite threatened by those with a understanding of the game that is beyond the typical fan.

Harpring is the Jazz version of Artest, without the bad attitude. Limited in minutes he is very important to this team. But it's cool to make fun of him, let's forget his contributions to the team. Other than the music it's a nice video.

I agree he can be valuable in limited minutes, I'd say around 10 a game. If he plays more than that, his bad hands and his defense is going to hurt us a hell of a lot more than his curl play can help us. And **** playing Harpring and Korver at the same time. Everyone gives up when they go in because everybody but themselves, Sloan, and maybe Jozef can see a 0-8 run coming for the Jazz.

I wish I could say his days were done, but I know much better. Like I have said, I like Matt and his hustle, but I think the candle has burned out.

So here is that wide open layup when Boston player pushes him at higher point of his jump so the ball bounces stronger off the board, hits front rim and falls out.

Is Matt an NBA player or not? If you can't make a contested layup you don't deserve to be in the man's league.

Do you think NBA players make all contested layup? Matt makes more of them than any Jazz wing.
Do you consider pushing in the back as a contest? It's a foul.

The Sheik saw no push whatsoever.

Ronnie Brewer (.550 on close shots in 07/08, .484 in 08/09) shies of contact and makes that pump reversal layup. They must hit him he is not going to muscle his way for some reason.
Harpring (.665 on close shots in 07/08, .643 in 08/09) goes hard.
