Diabate I think is my other guy in this draft. Reminds me a lot of Okongwu and Bam.

A backcourt with Dyson Daniels and Dalen Terry together would be pretty cool. Both are 6'7" / 200-lbs with long wingspans, solid-to-plus athleticism and good defensive instincts. Both average 5+ assists per 36 mins. and can play on and off the ball. Both are effective as drivers. If you're a believer in the 'positionless' model with multiple ball handlers, those two could be an impactful tandem on the perimeter.

Also, don't be surprised if Terry gets picked just outside the lottery.

His feet look a bit slow to me, but he could be a value-pick in the mid-late 2nd round, imo.

I think he's the best non-Chet center in the draft.

I can't agree with you there. I think he's probably a backup in the mold of a Noah Vonleh or Gorgui Dieng. I'll try to watch him more though.

Shooting is the issue with that back court but I’m pretty I love with both of them. In my day dreams I trade Don for Giddey + 12 and somehow select Daniel’s to pair him with Giddey.

Please do. Athletically you are right, but skill wise he is so far beyond. Dieng with Bams passing and ball handling plus a better three might be an okay comp.

These are highly selective highlights, granted, but tell me Dalen doesn't look like Penny Hardaway here....

I haven't followed the draft very closely but my draft crush is Nikola Jovic.

I have a feeling draft night will be nuts, with plenty of trades. I expect the Jazz to be a part of it.

I agree, with so many teams without cap space this year, I see that as a perfect storm to make teams pull the trigger on multiple trades.

How disappointing is this draft if we don't trade into it?

OKC, who is picking 12, trades multiple first round picks to the Knicks for #11. I guess they have too many so they're just giving some away.

I expect some movement from #16 onward, but if we end up with no picks it would suck.

Kinda disappointing we couldn't get into the 1st round. But all trades include picks going back and we don't have any... wonder if that was a problem in getting something done.

I didn't realize the Jazz had zero picks this year. Then I remembered Dennis gave them all away like candy on Halloween.
